Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
3.0
I read this story because a lot of people were talking about it for different prompts on the PopSugar 2020 Reading Challenge. I do have to say up front that the story being about two men that fall in love is not what I would normally pick to read, but I wanted to give it a chance. The story of their times together in bed were not overly explicit and I appreciated that, not that I have any problems with it, I am not judging anyone.
The reason I only gave it three stars is because the overall story was a little drawn out, and parts were even boring to me. I did enjoy reading it for the most part, but I just feel the story could have been told in much less words.

The Wandering World: A Collection of Science Fiction Stories by Ian Morgenheim, B.C. Woodruff

This anthology of Science Fiction stories was one of the free Kindle books and I knew it would fit one of the prompts of my reading challenge. The stories were okay, but did not really hold my attention.
Twenty Wishes by Debbie Macomber

Even though I have only read one other book in the Blossom Street series, I wanted to read this one for my reading challenge, and I was pleased to find that I was able to enjoy it without reading all of the series before it. This is a very sweet story of love, friendship, and family. I like how the idea for the twenty wishes started and am thinking about writing my own twenty wish list.
My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite

I learned about this book through the PopSugar 2020 Reading Challenge and thought I would check it out. I am glad I did. This is a story of two sisters trying to deal with hurts of the past. Korede is the older sister and has been told, since she was young, that she is responsible for her younger sister, Ayoola. Turns out, being responsible also means cleaning up the messes Ayoola creates, mainly the crime scene after she murders her boyfriends. This was a short, quick read, but full of a good storyline.

Fun Story
This was a fun story! I really liked Nina and learning about her and her life. Meeting her family that she had never met before was interesting to learn about them as she was learning too. I can very much identify with Nina and her anxiety and how she deals with it.

The Bookshop on the Shore by Jenny Colgan

Overall I enjoyed the basic story, but it took longer to tell the story than I thought necessary. There were also several errors in this book that should have been caught during editing. These errors are very disrupting to the story flow. It was good to read about Nina from the fist book in this series.

Good story
This story is full of surprises that kept me wanting to read more. Some parts I figured out pretty quickly, but other parts I didn't until the end. Very well written story.

Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson

This is a funny, but odd story of two children that have the ability to spontaneously combust when they are angry or scared. The story is told from the point of view of Lilian, the lady that has been hired to care for the children. I enjoyed the story, but would have enjoyed it more if there was not so much bad language in it. The story could have been told without that language for the most part.

Good Mystery
A friend of mine on Goodreads was reading this book and I saw it. I needed a book with either a robot or an AI character for one of the prompts in the PopSugar reading challenge. I was pleasantly surprised by this story. It turned out to be a good story full of action and mystery.

This was a fun and easy light read, that I enjoyed. The characters are fun and enjoyed learning about each one. I am not a Twitter user, so some of the references were lost on me, but still fun to read. I know that many of us have felt just like Pepper and/or Jack did in this story, and that makes it more real when we read it. There were a couple of surprises in this story that I enjoyed as well.
