The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie

I enjoyed reading this book and the stories that Junior shares. The illustrations were good too. It is heartbreaking to read some of the things that happened to Junior as a young boy. Some of the language in it, for it being a "young adult" book, I did not care for, but it was still a good read.

Treasure
This was a good story full of adventure, love and God. The adventure of searching through history and looking for treasure. The love of a sister for her brother, a man for a woman and mostly the love they have for God. This story shows what it means to truly trust God.

Childhood Memory
The last time I read this story I was a child and I enjoyed it as much this time as I did back then.

I originally picked this book to read to check off another prompt on the PopSugar 2020 Reading Challenge, and I am glad that I did. This story tells what it can be like for a person with Asperger's syndrome. Stella is very smart and has a very good job, but she is extremely socially awkward. A co-worker suggests she hires an escort to "teach" her about sex and relationships. They ultimately end up developing feelings for each other.
A warning about this book, it has several graphic sex scenes. They are well written, but not for younger readers.

I just finished reading this story, and part of me is so sad it is over. This story is so filled with emotion. It made me laugh, it made me cry, but most of all it made me fall in love with Kya, the main character. Kya was abandoned by everyone in her family and left to survive on her own from a very young age. Even though her circumstances were bleak, to say the least, she becomes a very strong and resourceful young woman.

For the most part I enjoyed reading this book, but I really wished there was more focus on Jane investigating the murders. In the end, she basically stumbled into finding out who was behind the murders. There were also a lot of unanswered questions by the end of the book. Some issues that were brought up, but not resolved by the end of the book. It was a good, sweet story for the most part and I did enjoy reading it.
Jennifer: An O'Malley Love Story by Dee Henderson

This story was very touching and I really enjoyed it so much!!!! The story of Jennifer's questions about if God is real, was very well written and is full of questions that I am sure a lot of us have asked ourselves. Very well written and it really helped to deepen my faith. Dee Henderson did not disappoint with this book as with all of her books! I love the story of the O'Malley's and this gives a good look into Jennifer's life and how she found God and how she wants to share that with her family.
The Daydreamer Detective by Steph Gennaro

This book was okay, but I like a Cozy Mystery that focuses more on how the "detective" figures out who committed the murder. This story seemed to focus more on her personal life and her struggles with her past. It seemed to me the figuring out the murder was a side note and not the main focus.

This is a beautiful story that I did not want to put down. The characters were interesting and I really enjoyed getting to know them. This was a very touching touching story that had me rooting for the characters. The descriptions of the area around the house and lake were so vivid I could see them clearly.
The Masterpiece by Fiona Davis

I really enjoyed this story. It was historical and interesting. It shows two eras - the late 1920s and the mid 1970s and describes them both well. The historical information about Grand Central Terminal was very interesting. It was great to learn about the characters from both eras and how their lives intertwined despite the years separating them.
