Me pareció super mala persona.

Boring and pointless.
To be honest, I skimmed through most parts of this book. But the parts that I did read were so bad and just boring.
The first, I don't know, 300 or something pages were so unnecessary and filled with irrelevant information.
I've seen some people say that the only interesting character in this series is Holland. But I don't really care about him. I don't care about any of these people. And I specially don't give two damns about Lila.
1) She's the most annoying, insufferable, pathetic and stubborn character I've ever come across.
2) Stubborn, stubborn, stubborn.
3) I want to slap across the face all the people who have told Lila that she's ''unique'', ''special'', ''different'', ''strange'', ''not like everyone else'', etc. for feeding into her ego. She is none of those things. She's just an edgy annoying piece of crap.
4) She wants to learn magic, but she won't listen to the people who are teaching her AND who are far more experienced. I was just hoping one of her spells or whatever would backfire and end up killing her.
5) Ok, this has nothing to do with the author or the book itself, but why the hell does the Wiki of Shades of Magic say that Lila is genderfluid? WHAT THE HELL??? She is not. She is just a misogynistic piece of absolute shit.
6) Apparently, she can do whatever the hell she wants without suffering any consequences. I mean, ok.
7) Oh, and she is stupid as HELL. It is very obvious where her magic comes from. To be fair, she isn't the only stupid one when it comes to this. Kell and the priest/master/whatever are stupid too.
8) I just want her to die. That's it.
Also, the romance... Just absolutely disgusting and unnecessary.
I liked the first book but this one was just so boring and bad. And the last one is 600+ pages long. I don't know if I want to read that.

I read the first 100 pages and I thought that was it, only to realize that I had another 100 more pages to go. No thanks. I'm not going to finish this. I hate everything about this book. I don't care about whatever the hell Sinclair was discussing with Demian. God, morality, sexuality, whatever. I genuinely have no idea what they were talking about most of the time and I certainly don't care about that stuff at all. And I specially don't care about Sinclair's life and what was happening to him.

This one is even worse than The Hobbit. How did he manage?

It took me 2 months to finish this. That's embarrassing.
I have to be honest: this book was super boring and I did not like it.
Character driven books are not my thing at all. I've learned my lesson. I will not continue this series.
It sucks because I was really excited to read this, but OH WELL.
