Lots of really beautiful elements to this book, but the sexual stuff was really clunky and unnecessary tbh.

Terribly written, barely included the narrator's perspective despite the book supposedly being all about her pov. Meant to be historically informed yet the inclusion of Australia Day 1916 is written as in January, but in actuality Australia Day was in July from 1915. This book really just read as a guy's little fantasy novel about how much he loves war and Australia and patriotism etc. Very boring.

I adored this book, couldn't put it down. Casual queerness throughout was heart-warming. Beautiful depiction of Melbourne.

The writing seems not quite as polished as previous novels. Overall I bloody loved it.

Absolutely excellent collection of  short stories. The perfect touch of Australiana and womanhood. Must get my own copy.

Beautifully illustrated and the best sex ed book I've ever read. Loads of great resources to share with others and a great go to. Queer inclusive.
