This series isn’t exactly life changing or particularly unique but the plot has enough twists to keep it interesting and the writing is witty and light.

This started off kind of silly and I was sort of rolling my eyes that it got so much hype. But it got me in the end.

3.5 stars. I found this to be an enjoyable read. I have lots of questions which is a good way to end the first book in a series. And I really enjoyed the “seven volumes of Rowling” reference!

I don’t usually expect much from the “middle” book but this one had a lot of surprises. I enjoyed it more than the first and immediately got book #3 from the library.

What just happened?!?

This is the 2nd book in. Row that I just couldn’t finish. Maybe I’ll pick it up again in the fall. Summer calls for fluff!
