Very fun as always but I feel like we're losing momentum at this point of the series. The ending felt conclusive enough it wouldn't be terrible not to read the last two books so I really don't want to.
The first two books were stellar though, Douglas Adams stays being one of the most interesting writers I've read, but I fear larger plots are perhaps not his forte.
Maybe I'll revisit the series to finish obe day, maybe I'll check out the original radio series idk

This and The Hitchhiler's Guide are probably some of my favourite sci fi books ever, this one is such a good sequel and so fun by itself too

in these dark times we really need to strive to be as woke as possible. i specifically enjoy the amount of references and case studies serano uses. it's so important to read these succinct and comprehensive perspectives on social opinions

The octopus was very charming and Tova's storyline of rediscovering hope for living in the face of the grief of outliving your loved ones as so beautiful and heartwrenching but omgggggggg i Hated Cameron.
Minus a whole star for the way he called Avery "the girl" when he met her, only for me to find out she's in her early thirties and is a single mom like.... minus a half star for trying to get me to emotionally connect to this whiny 30 year old man child. sorry not sorry, beautiful writing but would not recommend
