Beautiful and rhythmic.

I did not expect a book that had so many bathroom breaks in it to move me so, but here we are!

The unconditional love of Cerulean’s family, the way the pandemic revealed and exacerbated systems of oppression and inequality, and the education crisis all layered over a young person carving out a place for themselves in this work. Phew! I was moved. Absolutely loved this.

So I originally thought that I didn’t like the audiobook narration for the first 2 books. But then I got the arc for this and I realized that my problem with the audio narration is actually a problem with the writing style.

I’m not sure that the first person point of view helped the problem either.

Overall the writing feels stilted. And so over audio it comes across robotic. Like each sentence was recorded separately and then spliced together.

I also don’t really like Keera and Riven’s relationship. Fated mates is one of my least favorite romance tropes. Overall I just don’t like the arc of their relationship—we know they’re gonna end up together. And in a situation where so much of keeras life is out of her control—it would have been nice for her to have some autonomy and choice in the matter.

This was so sweet. I loved it.

I was skeptical about the Colleen Hoover endorsement on the cover 😂 but don’t let that hold you back!

This, like everything Kimberly Lemming does, was incredibly cute.

I do have mixed feelings about electricity-induced orgasms…

Will come back to this when I’m feeling cozy.  Currently in my horror girlie era.

This was so good and I believe the beginning of an obsession with SGJ. I adored Jade.

I didn’t expect a supernatural element, and have mixed feelings about it. But I guess some of the slashers Jade focused on should have clued me in.

Excited for the next one!

This book ruined me 😭
I loved it. 10 out of 10 would recommend getting destroyed by Teddy Ingram’s devotion.
