Did not finish book. Stopped at 2%.
this is such a cool concept, but honestly bees & wasps are my worst non-existential fear and i can already tell i will not be able to handle this one

man i picked this up on a whim at my library upon seeing it and this was such a banger. ive been interested in skateboarding for a long time but haven’t gotten to try it (ngl i twist/sprain my ankles extremely easily, so it might not be a great sport for me), so this was a super cool book to get to read :)

lovely ya fantasy !! half a star off cause there was a bit of flirting while there were really much higher stakes happening and i always find that annoying, but overall this was wonderful :D

the entire plot would never have happened if Regina and Sanaa had just adopted a child instead, and that thought is going to haunt me every time i think of this book

i thought this was pretty alright. not a new favorite, but it worked for background listening while drawing. it was definitely sweet but i would have liked a little more scifi (though i do believe the mc is an alien).

started out cool, ended up really boring.
there is a pov change halfway through this book, and i simply did not like it. previously it was from the vampire’s pov (awesome), then switched to this random modern lady who eventually meets the vampire. meh
