If I Stay by Gayle Forman
3.0
As a frequent book reader, I have read a lot of books that have intrigued me a lot, but the book that has had a strong impact on me and my life was ‘If I Stay’ by Gayle Forman.
This book is about a girl named as Mia Hall, a talented young cellist who thought the most difficult decision she’d ever have to make would be whether to pursue her musical dreams at prestigious Juilliard or follow her heart to be with the love of her life, Adam, who is a rock singer and guitarist. However, life changes in an instant for young Hall after a car accident puts her in a coma. During an out-of-body experience, she must decide whether to wake up and live a life far different than she’d imagined. The choice is hers if she can go on.
This book has taught me to be happy whenever I can and simply make good memories. While Hall was in an out-of-body experience, she had flashbacks about how beautiful her life used to be and knew it’ll never be the same. That was the part where my heart ached in sadness, and I almost cried. That was one of those moments I realised how much I love and care about my family, how much they mean to me, they’re priceless.
It was a good thing that I was in my room while reading this or else my family would’ve seen me crying and that would’ve been embarrassing!

Geek Girl by Holly Smale
2.0
The first few chapters of Geek Girl were hilarious! The first chapter was filled with comedic quotes and incidents which made the whole book shine. But the book got a little slow after the first few chapters, then completely boring in the end. All the characters sounded and acted kind of fake. The story was very predictable. I would give this book a 2.5 out of 5 stars.
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
3.0
Fangirl was turned out just as I expected it to be, enjoyable. The first 10 chapters were as usual kind of boring but it got better. I was able to almost relate myself to the main character of this book, really! It was written very interestingly and the twist and turns of the story were unpredictable, which was the best part. I would give it a 3 out of 5 stars. P.S. Even though I read this book 2 years ago, I didn’t write a review for it back then.
