I loved this! It was really intriguing and I wish we could have seen more of Charles, he seems very intriguing!
When He Was Wicked: The 2nd Epilogue by Julia Quinn

While I loved the story, and these were my favourite book and characters, I did not appreciate the ending, implying that the moment a woman “relaxes”, she is able to get pregnant as it was all in her head. That’s not fair, not on the million women who never get pregnant-because it’s NOT in your head, at least not always.
But then again, who am I to fault a rom-com writer for wanting a happy ending for all her characters...

On the Way to the Wedding by Julia Quinn

Honestly, I could feel that the author wanted to be done with this series. This book I rushed through just to get to the end of the story. It’s a pity, really, but maybe also what was required so that I can be at peace and done with the Bridgertons.
But really, I couldn’t bring myself to cheer for Gregory, or Lucy, and the story was somehow the least interesting of all those I’ve read so far. At the beginning it even reminded of Anthony’s and Kate’s story, but in the end I couldn’t bring myself to enjoy this one.
I just hate it so much that this actually fun and quite entertaining series has to end with such fickle characters and ridiculous plot - and ending (9 children? Are you serious?!)
