On the Way to the Wedding by Julia Quinn
2.0
Honestly, I could feel that the author wanted to be done with this series. This book I rushed through just to get to the end of the story. It’s a pity, really, but maybe also what was required so that I can be at peace and done with the Bridgertons.
But really, I couldn’t bring myself to cheer for Gregory, or Lucy, and the story was somehow the least interesting of all those I’ve read so far. At the beginning it even reminded of Anthony’s and Kate’s story, but in the end I couldn’t bring myself to enjoy this one.
I just hate it so much that this actually fun and quite entertaining series has to end with such fickle characters and ridiculous plot - and ending (9 children? Are you serious?!)
