“The Luck” was incredibly lucky.

I’m somewhere between 3.5 & 4 stars, because I don’t think I’d ever tell someone that they should read this for themselves, but it wasn’t an altogether unpleasant experience.

An instant favorite! I’m shocked that it took me so many years to read this, but it will certainly remain at the top of my list of favorites.

How can one book be so....so...just wholesome? This was easily one of the best books I've read this year. I'll write a more in-depth review soon, but if you're looking for "cozy fantasy", look no further. You've just found one of the best I've ever read.

Content: No gore / no on-page romance / only mild cursing.

This was such a cozy, winter fantasy! I loved the unique holiday celebrations and the tender memories. I haven't read the series, so keeping the characters straight was a bit difficult for me, but I loved the characters, the writing style, and the world so much that I've added the full series to my TBR!

The concept of this retelling immediately pulled me in and I read it very quickly! Short stories have such a special place in my heart and this one will reside in my memories for quite some time! I've never read a retelling quite like this.
