Boy it was a difficult read. From the first two chapters, I knew, I'd be needing extra time and quiet to focus on what is being said. I loved the story tho. Overall it was a good book, good enough for me to grab the next one that I found so much easier to comprehend. I think it might be the narration style in which we observe the detective from his friend's point of view. I think it was the best first Agatha Christie I got, there is no coming back. So I'll take it as it is. Would not recommend this as a first one to read, as "Death on the Nile" is so much nicer and easier to read. But still this book was worth reading because of the story and plot. It was exciting to see who the murderer was and try to solve this crime along with Poirot.

It's a third part of the series and I was waiting so long to read this book.
In the beginning, as an eager reader, I jumped right in and I had very nice review of that happened in the story. I like those highlights very much as tho it was a quite wait. But after this brief introduction we still weren't into the action. Everything seemed to be stretched out and slowly moving. The magic of VI was someplace else. The characters were annoying in their choices and internal dramas. I quite didn't enjoy it.
To summarize, it was a painful read for me as much as disappointing. I see the potential but overall there was so many holes in the story and overall made this read not pleasant.
