This book was a bit hit and miss for me. I loved some aspects and then really disliked others. I loved Emiras awesome friend, so supportive and fierce. Emiras character was frustrating at times and I actually liked her boyfriend for the most part. Alex/ Alix has a lot of serious issues and I didn’t like her character. The racism from the two main parties interested me and then at the end it all seemed quite petty, the main storyline that is, when it came down to it. It’s controversial so I can understand the hype but it wasn’t an amazing read for me.
