I'm here for the very slow, tender relationship developing between Gemma and Sebastian. They need to move in together and then go adopt Lucy!
I know the series is pretty dark, but this book seemed especially so with Frances and Gen. Modine's storyline. I was VERY glad for the epilogue.

This is the last book in the series and my favorite. Both Vienne and Graz are looking for the source of magic, deep within the mountains. They accidentally find themselves alone with each other in a cave. It's heart warming to see them start to work together, instead of fighting. The magic has a kind of Indiana Jones feel about it. This book is VERY hot. Great closure for the series.

Diantha is a very responsible, straight laced, older than her years woman. Lucian is an irresponsible, carefree, silly heart. Not really a rake, not really malicious, just hasn't found his purpose yet.

Their parents have been fighting for years, but yet own a factory together. Diantha and Lucian are pulled into the family business and have to work together now.

They are great together because they both have qualities the other person needs. The romance is very hot, and they do it in the strangest places. I love Megan Frampton's writing style. I feel like it's kind of tongue and cheek, and there's an orneriness or levity there. Her writing has a lot of personality.

Fortuity's Arrangement by Maeve Greyson

The writing is excellent. The premise is great - all seven sisters must be wed until their brother can accept his title. Fortuity is an author and she's been friends with Matthew for years. I became annoyed with them because they refused to be happy for way too long in the book. They have the perfect person right in front of them. Stop arguing!

This is a great beginning to the The Audacious Sisterhood of Smoke and Fire. Diana is a governess who has been charged by her Godmother to find the truth of her relative's suspicious death. William is a sea captain who's been injured and recovering while being the new heir to Pendowar Hall.

Diana takes the job as governess to 15 yr old Emma. Emma has a challenging reading disability, but Diana finds a way to relate to her thinking process and therefore starts to actually help her.

Sparks fly between Diana and William. I wish it would have been a little bit heavier on the romance part. Overall, a good book with very relatable characters.
