Loved this book. I can’t recommend it enough. I thought it portrayed aspects of the queer and coming out experience really well while also getting into how mental health plays a role. I did think it would’ve been nice to hear a bit more about the FMCs brothers struggles but I recognize the story was about the FMC so that’s where the focus was. I’d recommend this to anyone.

I didn’t love this book lol. I was a bit annoyed that this is how it wrapped up. It felt like more of a love story between the two MCs than a story about the characters as a whole. I didn’t like how the plot point related to a potential war was wrapped up in a few pages right at the end. I would’ve preferred it have been more of the headline of the story. Loved the series but disappointed with the ending.

This was a good segue into the last book. Learning more about the MCs love story was really cute. I’m excited to see how it plays out for the end of the series.

Ugh this book had so much potential. I liked it but didn’t love it. It did a pretty good job at depicting aspects of mental health which I really liked. And the MMCs were very lovable. I just wished we had more of a resolution. I can see why the author wrote it the way she did. But my personal preference would have been to see the MCs (whose pov it’s told from) go through steps towards dealing with his mental health concerns. We talk a lot about it and then bam, next thing you know it’s the epilogue and we’re told he somehow made it into therapy. Like ok….but I want details. I want to know how he got to the point of making a change. But again, just my preference. I liked it. But just wanted more.

I really liked this book. I can see the appeal that I was hearing about from the book community. My only issues were that at some points, it got a bit confusing but it wasn’t anything that hindered the plot or its development. I also wished there was more of the love story between the two characters. It was good but I felt like the jump from lust to love happened a bit quick for me. But besides that, it’s a bad ass book. I’m excited for the rest of the series

I adore this series. The MCs in this book are probably my second favorite in this universe. I love the stories Liz Tomforde writes. They hit a lot of important life topics while also keeping you engaged in the couples journey. I couldn’t give it five stars bc I thought some of the dialogue was a bit corny for me compared to other books in her series but I really enjoyed the book overall

Oooo I love this series. I can’t wait to see how it wraps up. I’m impatiently waiting for the fourth book. The FMC keeps getting better. And the MMC is swoon worthy at every turn. He’s definitely become a favorite book bf of mine. This unique magic system keeps surprising me which I really enjoy. There’s still many questions that need answers but the author set it up well to lead into the next book.

I’m really enjoying this series. I think the magic system is pretty unique and the world building has been great. The FMC is stubborn but bad ass. And the MMC is quickly becoming a favorite book boyfriend of mine. I think there’s a bit of mystery to the book that keeps you engaged every step of the way. The FMC is definitely a different entity than this magic world is used to seeing so in excited to see how it all plays out for her in the long run.
