This book is VERY dark. I’d read and consider the trigger warnings prior to reading or starting this book/series. It’s very interesting and captivating but sometimes it’s so tragic that I had to take a break from reading. I’m hoping the next book lends us some hope for the characters. Please take care of yourselves prior to and while reading this if mental health is something you struggle with. ❤️

This was just..too short. The concept was great. The author set up a dynamic between the MCs that had such great potential but I felt like the story fell flat because it was rushed. I could’ve read about them for at least 400 pages but it wrapped up quickly in about 200 with little overall character development.

I loved this book. I love anything by AE Valdez though honestly. She has yet to let me down. This book hits some heavy topics but the characters are so cute, funny, and I found myself rooting for them the entire time. I laughed out loud multiple times and she’d a few tears. It’s an emotional roller coaster I couldn’t put down. The only issue I had was some of the typos. But there were very few so I was able to move past it lol. Highly recommend.

I love this book and this series. Lina is such a bad ass FMC and I loved everything about her. She got the love story she deserved and I feel like I could’ve read about her and Nash for another 3 books. Highly recommend
