Due to the books being made into a tv series, there’s a lot of hype around the books. Unfortunately the first book fell flat. I often found myself confused. It was like the relationships between the characters were developing at a rapid pace that was almost..assumed? because it wasn’t written clearly for the reader.  Like the FMC assumes one of the MMC is finally into her because he ONE TIME looked jealous of her and another potential love interest. Just for him to eventually admit he “always” thought of her like that? I felt like the author missed so many opportunities to add detail to the various love stories. I love the show so much so this was a disappointment.

I know people love this book but I didn’t lol. I just couldn’t get into the writing style. The plot had a lot of potential but I thought it was long winded and sometimes hard to follow due to how the author wrote.

So cute. Such a quick but good (and spicy) read. The characters were so funny and very lovable.
