I’m shame to say it but I didn’t like it. I was super excited to read this one because hello look at the cover but I didn’t like it. (I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I have to be broken)

This story starts off with Naomi, a Naga princess, going to see her old friend, the Barista, to personally invite him to a ball her father is having but he soon figures out that the invite is a cover because she wants him to help her find her mate. The Barista agrees and sets her up with the beautiful Ella who Naomi instantly falls in love with her and wants to protect her from everyone!

Like I said in the beginning I’m broken! Because why didn’t I like it! I can’t give you one good reason why I didn’t like it and why I couldn’t connect with the characters or beloved their love for one another. But they didn’t do it for me The running plot line was great. I’m super excited about the books to come in this series but their love story fell flat for me.

This was my first book by this author and wow! I just finished listening to this book and the ending was so much of a shock to my system that I can’t even begin to write a coherent sound review. The book is really good, I’m just skooketh to my core. If you like watching heavy drama series with rich white people you can’t trust, you will love this book.

Omg!!!! Please stop my beating heart!!! Between how adorable Jasper and Alex love story is and the issue between Lucy and the Barista coming to a head! I’m not well and my poor heart can’t take all this love and angst! Someone come save me!

This story starts off with Jasper, an orc and really good friend of the Barista, asking the Barista for help to find his human mate because it’s time. After the Barista pair Jasper up with Alex, they agree that they will spend two weeks getting to know each other before they head to Canada for a retreat for the summer solstice. When Jasper arrives to the cabin for the retreat he is in for a week of nothing but fun and “games”.

I don’t know how @clioevansauthor is able to get me to fall in love with two characters and their love story in under 140 pages but my heart felt everything for Jasper and Alex. Their connection to each other rivals some of the other couples we’ve met so far. Jasper ability to be Dom/primal yet gental and reassuring to Alex when he needs it, made me feel butterflies! Alex submission and willing to ask for what he wants in life even though he’s scared of rejection made me want to wrap him in a warm hug! Jasper and Alex will make you believe in soulmates and there is someone for everyone in this world.

Is it possible for your most anticipated book of the year to be a novella??? Because they way this book has me crawling out of my skin for the last book is unreal! The end of this month can’t come any soon!

After putting aside his hate for humans, falling angel Gab reaches out to his step father, the Barista, to ask him to find a human mate for him and his other mate Cam. The barista is hesitant because with Gab and Cam being falling angels, Gab specifically can kill a human if he touches them but the Barista knows the perfect mate the these two. Seth has been the barista’s tattoo artists for years and is cursed. Will the three of them be able to make it work or will secrets of their parents keep them apart?

These three had me blushing and super giddy like a school girl all over again! Between their instant attraction to one another, Gabs internal battle between right and wrong when it comes to humans, and Cam’s pure heart of gold made this novella one of the best I’ve read so far!! And the father son relationship between the Barista and Gab made my heart melt. I couldn’t take it at times! You could feel all the love the Barista has for his stepson on every page! My little hurt couldn’t take how raw and real these characters were in this book and how they all came together in the end. I can’t wait for the next book!

I had the amazing opportunity to sensitivity read for @sarahblueauthor and I loved it!! Sara made the process of reading and providing feedback for this gem of a novel such a joy. To have an opportunity like this was amazing but getting the chance to read a story like this with a black female lead is unreal and everything I didn’t know I needed!!!

This story starts off with Smith being hired for the new up and coming pop star Deja Fox as her bodyguard. Smith is hesitant to take the job because he doesn’t want to deal with a spoiled rich entitled omega brat. But when Smith meets Deja, real name Cami, for the first time, he is so far off from the truth. Cami is the sweetest and kindest person he’s every met in the music industry and he feels this overwhelming need to protect her from everyone. But what happens when Smith tries to keep Cami at a arms length but he can’t seems to keep her out of his mind all of the time?!?

Listen!!! Smith can have me anyday!!! The way this man mouth is set up, he will have you crawling out of your skin ready to bend to his will!! And we love a man that listens and follows directions!!! Smith literally listen to everything Cami said she would like to experience in and out of the bedroom and made it happen!! Smith was everything Cami needed. A provider, protector, friend, lover, and soulmate!! I just love them two together. It’s been a long time since I believed in two characters love story but I believe they will be together forever. I can’t wait to see what happens with Smith’s little sister though!!! Her book is going to be wild and I’m ready!

Wow!!! This is not my first time around these Jessa Kane streets. I was fully prepared for the unhinged stepbrother/stepsister romantic relationship. But what I wasn't prepared for was the wholesomeness and blushing I was going to do while reading this book. This was the first time while reading a Jessa Kane book that I felt feelings other than a quick smutt fix and a good laugh. I loved this story so much! My favorite book by her to date.

Marley Valentine!!!! Why do you want make me fall in love like this with men who don't exist! I thought "Without You" had my heart in shambles, but Gael and Jorden is the true definition of ache! It's the perfect name for this book!

This story starts of with Jordan spending Christmas with his bestfriend Gael's family like he's done majority of his adult life. As a Christmas present, wedding present and surprise to Gael, Jordan surprises him with a bachelor party/getaway to Vegas for the weekend for him and his brother-in-laws. Everything was going great during the weekend in Vegas until old memories and feelings start to arise between Gael and Jordan that has the potential to either ruin everything including their friendship or make them finally come to terms with how they truly feel about each other.

It's something about friends to lovers that make me not believe their relationship but the way Marley wrote their love story made me feel every heartache they felt for one another with each passing year of their friendship that they didn't express their true feelings. These two will make you work for their HEA! So much happens in this book that has the potential to keep them apart but they fight so hard to be together in the end. I could understand and sympathize with Gael secretly wanting to take things to the next level with Joran but not wanting to get his heart crusted again. Jordan could have had what he wanted all along if he would have been honest with Gael and not try to predict the outcome but I understood his hesitation and how much their friendship meant to him. All in all, Gael and Jordan are soulmates and I'm glad they finally made it to each other in the end. Side note: I literally screamed when we got a chemo of the main characters from "Without You". They are still my favorite so far! I can't wait to read Frankie's book now! Loving this universe Marley has created!
