Woah. That was so… weird? In the best way?
I need to reread it, maybe a dozen more times.
Creepy, isolating, and somehow beautiful?
Honestly, what did I just read

I can’t pinpoint what’s missing that’s keeping it so close to a 5 Star. I’ve gotta let this one sit for a while. That rating might rise or fall depending.
All in all I definitely enjoyed the writing in this book. Kept you rooting for the characters the whole way through. Maybe it was the mystery that was lacking for me?
I appreciated how short and to the point this book was though.

This was actually… genuinely… interesting. If I hadn’t picked up on the “twist” almost immediately I would have liked it more. Cool concept out of these short stories.

This was— this was something, alright.
I swear, if the beginning half of this book was better we might be sitting at a 3 ⭐️. BUT, omg… I could not handle this main character. The amount of times she contradicted herself, sometimes in the same SENTENCE. I was beyond over it.

The mystery kept me engaged. Granted I was on hour 20 of a 24hr reading challenge. I was glad to have something that kept my interest. If the ending hadn’t been what it was (although predictable) this would be a 2.

I’m gonna be honest… I fell asleep.
I was playing the audiobook (on hour 18 out of 24 for my reading challenge) and straight up fell asleep.

Won’t rate this cause genuinely I have no idea what happened. All I remember was I wasn’t enjoying it
