If Cats Disappeared From The World by Genki Kawamura

Translation will always take something away from the story unfortunately, it was a sweet story with a good purpose but there were things that just sounded stupid including the depiction of the devil (Aloha the cool devil who happens to be his Doppelgänger/the split image of the person haha.) specifically the line that side: "that's what the devil is all about. It's what you wanted to become but couldn't." That was just ???.. anyways it wasn't a bad book.

I needed the Warner POV tbh, but I didn't even think it was possible to hate Anderson more than I already do...

As if I didn't hate Adam enough, now I have unfortunately had the honor of reading his thoughts/POV and just ewwww.

This one was loaded with so many emotions and revelations, some that really really surprised and shook me!! I can't wait to pick up the next. I don't know what to expect next but I think I should be as worried as our lovely characters.

It's amazing how I went from 'i have no clue what's going on' to 'oh so that's what's happening' I like how I was given detail after detail about the world and everything related to it piece by piece instead of having it all clumped in one chapter. I loved August and I loved Kate, how they struggled with the identity that was handed to them. A monster and a daughter of a criminal because Callum was not a father nor a husband no he was a monster in human form.

I loved the rhythm of this book, the characters and how everything was wrapped by the end. It left me with my jaw on the floor but it was the perfect surprise for me and to me. I can't wait to pick up the second book, I NEED MONEY FIRST.
