The idea of this book sounded so amazing, but I found myself underwhelmed the whole time. Zero world building had me feeling a little lost. Most of the book was the FMC’s thoughts with not enough plot or action happening for me personally. There were some interesting plot points I would’ve loved to have explored more, but they were just brought up and never dwelled on again. Idk maybe I’m just not a huge fan of this author’s writing style. The trigger warnings had me thinking it would be darker, more exciting, but yeah, again just underwhelmed is how I ended up

Edge of my seat the whole time!

There was so much excitement in this book it was impossible to put down! And the plot twists and turns were *chefs kiss* spoil good! The spice was perfect after the slowburn.

This was a quick, entertaining read! It gave me labyrinth vibes. I laughed out loud a few times and even gasped at one plot (small) plot twist. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a light read’
