Wow.
Not for the weak stomached however it's not gross for the sake of being gross. Angel and Shyla may be my new favourite storytellers in EH. Looking forward to the next Lonely Motel book and hoping Ralston expands on Angel and Shyla's stories.

Midnite's dumbness is lowkey adorable lol.

A beautifully disgusting depraved mess of torture, gore, blood, and lots of mangled sex organs. Would not reccomend to anyone yet i enjoyed this read.

Worst novella I have ever read. The plot is non existent. It's like someone challenged 2 14yr old boys to write a bunch of random edgy disgusting stuff with no substance or reason. I wish I could take back the last 40mins of my life I spent reading this trash. This isn't extreme horror or splatterpunk, this is just pedo/torture fetish material. I'm not even exaggerating in my trigger warnings! All the ones I've listed are extremely graphic for no reason AT ALL.

But also fuck pedophiles they deserve to be tortured. Read Dollface if you want a good novella about a pedo getting what he deserves.

Wow. What a book. I loved this, one of the most realistic yet still shocking and fun horror books I've read to date. Would reccomend to anyone who can handle the topic of n3cr0ph1li4.

I think mental illness being portrayed as a serpent is a very powerful representation. I can relate to Eve a lot as a character, I'm likely autistic and i also have an anxiety disorder and have experienced psychotic episodes. It was nice to see a female character portrayed in a way that was relatable. But maybe too relatable. I feel like if I was also exposed to Dr Gish's teachings I'd have the same fate as her? I don't know. But ultimately it was an excellent novella but triggering in ways I'm sure many mentally ill people can understand. Would not reccomend if you're in recovery or at risk of relapsing any kind of psychotic mental illness symptom.

I wish I could rate this even higher than 5 stars.
What can I say but WOW. This is my favourite book I have ever read. I will be reading this one hundreds of more times in the future.

Just the right amount of gore, a wonderful main character, perfect setting, beautiful heartfelt moments, casual queer representation... the list goes on and on. I loved every single sentence. I could write an essay on why I love this book but for now: GO BUY THIS!!!
