Fearless by Brigid Kemmerer

So, in this novella we get to see a little about Hunter's life pre-book 1. It was nice, I guess. I think all of you Team Hunter would really like this novella. Can't say I loved it, since I'm Team Chris.
Would I recommend it? Only if you loved Hunter. Otherwise, I don't really think reading this is essentially important to the continuity of the saga.

A wonderfully romantic tale of love and forgiveness. I loved how strong and resilient Kelly was. That after having her heart broken instead of being all weepy, mopey and pathetic, she decided to be tough and endure whatever life threw her way. That she wasn't all teary and forgiving, but instead angry and snappy when her un-trusting ex-fiancee showed up. A good, strong, independent main character. She was awesome, she knew what she wanted and she wasn't willing to let anyone mistreat her. You go, girl!

I'm in literature love. In written heaven! This book oozes amazingness. How on earth isn't it a best seller?! Really, I'm surprised that so few people (roughly 6000) have read it, given its extreme awesomeness!
Let's start with how it was written: GENIUS! And I know some people won't agree with me on that, but the style really worked for me. It had me snorting with laughter every-other sentence! This book was sooooo funny!
And speaking of funny let's move onto the main characters. Reese is my new favorite heroine, I think. It's just hard finding strong, brave, funny, smart leading ladies now-a-days, they're all the damsel in distress type. But not this lady! She was fantastic, and the way her brain worked was hilarious! I really liked how she didn't let herself be ruled and defined by what had happened to her, or by what others thought. She was her own person, and I think that's a good message. She didn't need some guy to save her, she was the one in charge of the saving. And who did she set out to rescue, you might ask? Well, the lovely Mason, of course. And OMG was he PERFECT or what?! Apart from the gigolo part, obviously. He was just so sweet and caring and protective and (ironically) moral. And let's not forget hot as a thousand suns! That boy had some serious charm! I loved him, he was the best. He just made me want to hug him and never let go :)
So, yes, 5 stars aren't nearly enough for this marvelous book. I'm scared of starting anything else now, because there's a good chance it won't be quite up to this level. Oh, the hardships a serial-reader must face...
Would I recommend this book? If you have a tendency of squealing, fangirling and going all awww during cute scenes, then I most certainly do. I promise you won't be disappointed. If you love funny books that make you laugh, then this is a must read for you. And if you simply enjoy reading a good book, then look no further, Price of a Kiss will not let you down.
Also, if this book is ever translated to Spanish, I swear to make it my life's mission to get every single female person I know to read it. That's how much I loved it. And maybe I'll be able to convince some of my guy friend too, who knows... ;)

Baby & Bump by Brooke Moss

I'm feeling all fluffy and happy right now. All gooey and mushy inside. This book made me happy, despite the overbearing mother and all the tension and guilt. It was simply perfect. Really sweet but with just the right amount of sour & tart to keep it from being sickly so.
It's utterly impossible not to fall in love with Dr. Baby if you have an uterus, I can assure you that. He's firmly on the top of the list along other perfect book boyfriends.
Would I recommend this book? Yes, all you happily-ever-after lovers will not be disappointed!

Keeping up with an important part of this book, I'll attempt describing it in 5 words or less.
Let's see: Different, Sweet, Profound, Happy Sigh. And as a bonus, Bennett, I absolutely adored him. He was a breath of fresh air in the book-hero department.

What did I think? Let's see...
First of all let's talk about Carol. She was a crazy, psychotic, homicidal bitch. What I still don't understand though, is why she hated Emma that much. I mean, seriously, a person has to have a reason for abusing and hurting someone else. Every time something happen all I could think was, why? what the hell is wrong with this woman? At first I thought that the book would eventually explain it, so I just kept reading. But the explanation never came, and so I guess the answer is that Carol was simply crazy.
And now, to the good parts. I absolutely adored Evan. He's definitely one of the best book boyfriends I've read about. He was just so sweet, and funny and perfect! It's so not fair that guys like that only exist in fiction. I also loved his mother! She was just great and I can't wait to read more about her.
Sara was also wonderful, always there to support Emma no matter what. A true BFF.
I still don't know how I feel about Emma's mom, I don't have enough info to develop an opinion yet. I guess I'll have to see if she comes back in the second book.
Finally, a quick comment on spelling. Why is it always so hard for so many writers to use 'your' and 'you're' correctly? Just stop and ask yourself if it'd be written correctly without the contraction. If a non-native speaker can tell when to use one form or the other, then someone who's been speaking the language their whole lives should have no problem doing it as well! Because of this and not-really-justified Carol thing, I'll give the story 4 stars, even though the book really was amazing.

What can I say? Scottish alpha male douchebags are HOTT! Braden was insufferable, and wickedly charming, and extremely pigheaded, and passionate, and cocky, and understanding. I sorta hated him but I also sorta loved him too. He and Joss were absolutely perfect for eachother! Yay love!

Joss and Braden piss me off so much! But at the same time that's what makes me love them! A total match made in heaven :)

Why on earth did I get the impression that Soldier Dude was from like WW2 or some other old war of US history? My history knowledge is seriously lacking.
But, oh wow, this book was sooo good! I was left with a ton of unanswered questions, though! (which is guess was done on purpose, since this is a saga, and all that).
This is gonna be a bit spoilerish but it was nice how the parental situation was completely turned around. Unexpected developments are awesome!
The girl-friends were supportive and amusing and blunt and all around great friends to have.
The love triangle situation was pretty mild. I mean there was only one significant scene where all three characters were involved. I actually liked that I'm still undecided regarding Derek and Lucas. I know I definitely don't like Trey (and I don't expect I'll be reading much more about him either), but as for the Fae and the werewolf, as of right know, I'm rooting for Kylie to not get with either of them yet. Keep getting to know them, they're totally keeping some sort of secret!
Oh, and let's not forget Holiday (such an odd name) I freakin' loved her! (and Perry too!)
I'm really curious to see how this story continues!
