Dirty Red by Tarryn Fisher

First thought I had while reading this book, 'WTF? How can a woman be jealous of her own newborn daughter? Be so careless and selfish? Such a sick bitch'.
I see this book as a means to an end, I read it because it was in between The Opportunist and Thief. And beacuse I wanted to see Leah suffer, that's harsh and mean, but she absolutely deserved everything she got. She makes my list of the top 5 most hated characters. Through the whole book you just want to slap her and scream THE WORLD DOESN'T FUCKING REVOLVE AROUND YOU! GOSH!.
On a positive note, I really like Cammie's cousin Sam. I hope we learn a bit more about him in the next book, and also about Caleb's brother Seth (Caleb has a brother?! WHAT THE HELL, right?) and the fact that he's possibly Estella's father (that lying, cheating, adulterous bitch! How dare she!)
I must go read the last book of the series now to find out if my dream comes true and Caleb and Olivia get their much deserved happily ever after!

If I had to describe this book with one word, I'd choose FRUSTRANTING.
Caleb and Olivia have the worst fuc*ing timing eveeeer! It drove me completely nuts! When she was finally ready, he wasn't available, when he came looking for her sometime later, she was the one who was with someone else! And then there were the lies, the weddings, the births and miscarrieges, every single page was filled with drama. I wanted for them to finally found peace together so bad, and the end was bittersweet.
Yes, they got together in the end, but they weren't able to have any babies, which made me incredibly sad, because I really, really, REALLY wanted them to be able to start their own family and have lots of kids. Also both his parents ended up dead, was that really necessary?
All in all this book made me laugh and scream internally in annoyance, but I really enjoyed it, so I'd definitely recommed it. Go Tarryn Fisher! You rock!

Before starting this book I made the horrible, unforgivable mistake of reading Flat-Out Matt's summary. BIIIIG MISTAKE! BIG I TELL YOU! Don't, under any circumstances, do that. You'll deeply regret it, I assure you.
That said, I really, really enjoyed this book. I can't really say much without reveling anything. I liked all the characters, although sometimes I felt like shaking them. They were all quirky and flawed in their own, particular, endearing ways. I thought the ending would make me angry, but I just felt so sad. You simply could't blame them (any of them). No, wait, there actually is a character that I didn't like, Julie's dad (jerk). I recommend this book 110%! Go read it! NOW!

Out of Breath by Rebecca Donovan

I'm really sad right now. I can't believe this is the end of the Emma&Evan trilogy. Don't get me wrong the book was absolutely perfect, but I'm gonna miss reading about them.
I think I'll miss perfect Evan the most. The first chapters of the book killed me with their Evan-lessness! With every page I turned I kept expecting to see his name, to know what he was up to, what he'd gone through all that time he and Emma were apart. And the wait was reaaaaaally long, but then, once he finally appeared again, we got to see the story from his point of view!!! I almost fainted when I realized I'd get to see inside his head and heart! The long wait was definitely worth it. And even though I realized he had imperfections, and had made some mistakes, they only made him more perfect in my eyes. I truly love him.
I really liked all the new characters too. Emma's roommates, Evan's California friends and poor, sweet Cole. I felt so bad for him, but at the same time was thinking, 'Well, what did you expect? She never stopped and will never stop loving Evan. Sorry'. Serena, Meg, Peyton, Nate, Brent, TJ and Ren made me wish I had such good friends as them. They kept making me laugh. Especially Brent.
What to say about Emma? I was really worried about her at the beginning. But the things she did also made me angry. She was hurting really badly and was drowning in guilt, but refused to open up to anyone, and it was tearing her apart. She hit rock bottom. But then Evan was there to guide her back, to help return the light to her eyes, to heal her (and himself) with the love they shared. He knew what to do to fix her, because he knows her like no one else does. And she finally, FINALLY opened up to him! And voila! You have an epic love story. Gosh, I'm gonna miss them so bad.
I wanna thank Rebecca Donovan for the most beautiful, angsty, heart-wrenching and heartwarming trilogy of all times. And for giving us the most perfect book boyfriend ever! I'm hoping with all my might that she keeps writing. I can't wait to see what her next story will be about, but I'm 100% sure it'll be amazing.

A nice, sweet, predictable story. I liked Jared, he proved to be a top notch husband :)

It was a good story, however Bastian managed to annoy the hell out of me. I wanted to reach though the screen, slap him and yell 'Stop freaking whining about everything already!'
