This is one of my favorite reads this year! The Best of All Possible Worlds is a thought provoking, quiet, reflective science fiction novel that is character driven and anthropological. I loved following our protagonists and exploring different cultures with them. I loved the relationships and their dynamics. This has one of the best love stories I've read. The world building was phenomenal, and I loved the exploration of mental abilities, empathy, and emotions. I cannot wait to reread it.

This was such a cozy sci-fi mystery! I really enjoyed following our protagonists and their investigation. The world building was excellent, the mystery was well paced, and I loved the Sapphic romance!

I really enjoyed this entry in the Rain Wild Chronicles! The first half of the book was recap and a bit slow, but when I hit the second half, the plot really picked up and didn't stop until the end. There is a lot of fantastic worldbuilding, and more information is revealed about the Elderlings. I cannot wait to get to the next book!

This was such a fun, entertaining adventure! This has so much heart, and the audiobook narration by the author is spot on. It immediately hooked me and didn't let go until the end. The protagonist, Jack, is a lovable, endearing character, and I loved following him on his journey. This book has magic, pirates, different magical races, and epic battles. The artwork is stunning. I cannot wait to read more by A.R. Witham, and I am so glad I got to experience The Legend of Black Jack!

This is a book best consumed slowly, and I am so glad I read it that way. Each chapter focuses on a different monster and how the narrator interacted with and learned more about that particular type of monster. I loved the exploration of what makes us human.

I was slightly underwhelmed by this book. It is basically 900 pages of battle sequences, and it was exhausting. There were some epic moments and some great scenes, but it doesn't make up for the fact that this book is very bloated. I think it would have been more impactful if it were a few hundred pages shorter. I also wish there had been more falling action and resolution at the end. The book length chapter was way too long and doesn't contain the entire last battle, despite the title. That being said, I am happy to have finished The Wheel of Time, and there were a few moments that hit me emotionally.
