A Memory of Light by Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson

adventurous dark mysterious medium-paced
I was slightly underwhelmed by this book. It is basically 900 pages of battle sequences, and it was exhausting. There were some epic moments and some great scenes, but it doesn't make up for the fact that this book is very bloated. I think it would have been more impactful if it were a few hundred pages shorter. I also wish there had been more falling action and resolution at the end. The book length chapter was way too long and doesn't contain the entire last battle, despite the title. That being said, I am happy to have finished The Wheel of Time, and there were a few moments that hit me emotionally.
