May we never forget the Aluu4. Ugonna Obuzor, Toku Lloyd, Chiadika Biringa, and Tekena Elkanah, rest gently.
This book is heavily inspired by the lynching and burning alive of the four young men. This heinous act was subsequently recorded and distributed for the whole world to see.

My heart hurts for the families and friends of the real life men whose lives were brutally cut short for something so trivial.

It is an important story to be told, no one wins where jungle justice prevails.

Authors are so creative because how do they come up with such interesting concepts??!!
It was a pretty easy read and I was simply intrigued from beginning to end.
There might be a possible sequel? I’ll read that too. If there isn’t, that’s okay.

Proof that friends to lovers is in fact the superior trope. I enjoyed this very much. It was a very quick read

Yes to reclaiming the narrative and giving voice to the victims.
Ruth my poor baby. My chest was always tight at her chapters and I felt immense grief while listening to her last chapter.
Pamela, you badass! Martina, the woman that you are!

I really liked this one. This might be my favourite Abby Jimenez book. I’ll tell you guys my ranking after this.
I enjoyed both Vanessa and Adrian as people and as a couple. Grace and the grumpy dog were such a welcome addition.
Abby Jimenez has such an uncanny ability to write difficult situations and people and making them human.
I was initially stressed out about her family dynamics but the way it played out.
Adrian… oh what a man. What a man! I love him so much please. The father who stepped up.
I liked the progression of their relationship so much. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because again she does third act break ups that I do not love.

Here’s my ranking:
Part of your World Series > Friendzone series
Now for the books
1. life’s too short
2. Yours truly
3. Just for the summer
4. Part of your world
5. The Happy ever after playlist
6. The friendzone

I have read everything she’s ever written including the worst wingman ever and the situationship. Can’t wait for say you’ll remember me

Oh my heart … 🥹what a beautiful story. It’s not a full 5 star because I deeply dislike 3rd act break ups. I adored Justin so much. What a responsible gentleman. Maddy is true friend and I want the best for her. Emma my poor baby 🥹
Amber when I catch you?!  Also I love that Neil got his comeuppance.. lol
I enjoyed seeing the other characters from the other books. Off to read the situationship now!
