ryen cries a lot typical possessive emo boy i tried to age the characters up but they keep talking abt prom. cringe a little but the sex scenes were explained well. also the second half i used an audiobook mishas voice was so annoying. how did her mom and sister not hear—? it was slow at times
I can see why this book is a fan fav. Dean is Dean. Confident, Hot, Rich, Hockey player. Allie is a actress. The book has so many sex scenes (not complaining) i can’t really differentiate when the fell in love. Though i felt like beau’s death was essential to allie and deans relationship and to dean characters arc. Because it lacked.
Very triggering and emotionally draining book. iris and august’s chemistry is so amazing and they’re so adorable, but it’s so hard to enjoy it when on edge 99% of the book. Kennedy Ryans writing is so phenomenal. I will definitely read more of her books.
I hated this book so much when i first read it. Grace was irrational (when it came to his dad). Logan fell kinda quit. The book was just unmemorable and boring. I read it again and fell in love with Logan and his relationship with grace. Grace’s and I’s relationship is rocky but her character development with so cool to see. Grace learned her worth didn’t let people walk over her made him prove to her was worth to even be in her presence #girboss. But my opinion didn’t change on the fact that they’re last fight (which lead to one of favorite moments) was so stupid because ultimately she was in the wrong. Here for the angry love confession though!! It’s cheesy sure but i just love to a couple just laugh with each-other and just but happy to be around each other which definitely is logangrace.
It was an ultimately good book. Although I didn’t cry, the book was extremely emotional and intense. The metaphors, for one of the cycle of abuse ending with lily and her daughter were more than ground-breaking . The book depicts and portrays lily’s story in a such a powerful and tragic way that i’m so grateful I got to read.
