It was an ultimately good book. Although I didn’t cry, the book was extremely emotional and intense. The metaphors, for one of the cycle of abuse ending
with lily and her daughter were more than ground-breaking . The book depicts and portrays lily’s story in a such a powerful and tragic way that i’m so grateful I got to read.
