No rating as I haven't applied the lessons in the book yet. I thought some of what he said was a little wacky (i.e. manifesting opportunities) but his stuff about the brain was compelling. As someone with some formal education in neuroscience what he explained makes sense to me, though of course there may be contexts I'm unaware of. I've reached the limits of modern medicine for my pre-pandemic mecfs and am willing to accept some more out there ideas and this book has given me hope.

Stakes were pretty low and difficult to grab onto emotionally. One-dimensional characters with admittedly zippy dialogue. I liked the body positivity and diversity (though it felt a little crammed in and stereotype-dependent at times). As I was reading this book it just felt like nothing was happening. TBH it read like someone's converted 1D fanfic.
