This was a nice story with a sad, but also happy ending! I enjoyed how different it was from his other book that I've read.

This was a fairly decent read. I enjoyed the plot and how the author made an effort to actually develop the main characters along with a backstory for both of them. There was a decent amount of spice. I do think the book could have been much better had the author taken the time to go back and add more depth to the storyline. Particularly near the end which felt rushed. Overall it was a decent short story that kept me wanting to continue reading.

This was such a great story! If you enjoy reading books about people with supernatural powers then I think you'd really like this book.

🥵 This one was pretty dang good! Would have loved it it were a bit longer so it didn't feel so rushed. But I still enjoyed it!

If you weren't a political conspiracy theorist before this book, you probably will be after! This book was so far outside what I usually read, but I really enjoyed reading this!

What would you do if your Best Friend is viciously assaulted and your Husband is the one accused of doing it? Who would you trust? Who do you support? What lengths would you go to protect the life your have as it falls apart around you? 

Claire McGowan does a phenomenal job of emersing you so deeply into the story that it will for you to ask yourself the most uncomfortable and complicated questions. How would I react? 

But such as in life, what appears to be black and white on the surface is never truly the case. There's always secrets hidden so deeply that by the time they finally surface no one's life will ever be the same. 

This novel was so well written and will stay with me for days wondering how differently it all could have turned out.
