i- ok TW i’m all here for some cnc but this was the kind that felt wrong. It’s obvious she has no experience with this kink and wrote it in a way that can be harmful for those it can actually help. Damien made all her trauma about himself and we never got her actual feelings on HER trauma only what he felt she needed to feel.

Not gonna lie, I struggled with it at times but I am so glad I stuck with it. So many plot twists and shockers. And the BOYS. Erika please marry me. Kai have my children. Michael love me. Just yes. Definitely read the trigger warnings thoroughly before jumping in as there are many scenes that are uncomfortable and hard to read. All in all, 8/10 recommend.

Well, booktok definitely overhyped this book in my opinion. I had some issues with Ryen quite a bit in the sense that I felt she just assumed the second she was nice again everyone would forgive and forget without her working for it. I don’t know there was just something about her that didn’t sit right with me that I can’t explain, so maybe that’s my issue with this book. 7.5/10

Alright, I’ll admit I had some issues in the beginning but I’m SO glad I stuck it out. I’m absolutely in love with Banks and her beautifully chaotic dynamic with Kai. The complexity of her and Damon’s relationship was very well developed. It gave that unnerving feel, while still being able to feel for them both. I did feel like Michael’s character was a little different than in Corrupt, maybe it’s because Erika overlooks a lot or he’s just a very different person around Banks, but I had some issues with that. All in all, so good, definitely better than the first 7.5/10

Finally started this series after debating on it and I’m so glad I did. Even though this was just the novella, the storyline between Celaena and Sam was my favorite. And the way this short novella really showed who they were and their morals. I’m very excited for this series.
