The title of this book says it all. A series of smart, confident women who are shunned by society for not denying their sexuality, while a host of disreputable men do as the please with minimal consequences. Charlotte Holmes and Mrs. Watson are the patriarchy smashing sleuths you never knew you always wanted.

The dialog is clever, the mystery intriguing, and the characters are even better than the original.
