The romance was fun and well written with just the right amount of intrigue. I loved the characterization of the island, but would have liked to spend a little more time with the supporting characters.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I loved this book. Beautiful diverse cast, a main character on the spectrum, and a fantastic love story.

This has been my least favorite of the Winston Brothers books so far. I had a really hard time sticking with it. Good, but, I guess it's just difficult to follow Cletus?

This books was an absolute joy to read. I need more smart, unapologetically nerdy heroines in my life.

I couldn't put this book down. I loved it from start to finish. There were a few points where the hero was almost a little too violent for me, but otherwise, it was a great romance read.

Extra Hot

The premise was new and intruguing, and the raw emotion between the characters kept the pages turning from start to finish.

I just finished listening Get A Life, Chloe Brown by @taliahibbert And the entire thing was delightful from start to finish. I loved Chloe immediately and how Red tries to pretend he's not a big fluff ball takes you right in. And the love story? Swoon. These two people found each other and learned how to let each other in despite their past traumas and current fears. Hilarious and heartwarming and unbelievably sexy. You should go read it.

Let's talk about the fun that is listening to audiobooks for a minute. So, I am in the car a lot. Like, hours a day, okay? And yeah, I listen to music and podcasts, but I am all about consuming as many books as possible and supporting as many authors as I can, so I mostly listen to audiobooks. And one of my favorite things is hearing the different ways the characters could be interpreted. And I have to tell you, at first I thought Red's voice was kind of . . . Snivelly. BUT, he has the best potty mouth ever. Like he really likes naughty words. And I am a fan. But part of the fun of this book is that Red uses his naughty words with the silver tongued-grace of a Lisa Kleypas hero. Ya'll, the C-word has never been so fucking sexy. *shiver* So you should probably the book and the audiobook. Just sayin.

Great emotional depth, a slow burn love story, and a lot of family betrayal.
