These characters are either completely oblivious or completely fucking stupid. The FMC I’m convinced was written to genuinely be a fucking idiot. From the 90% mark on…are you kidding me? He verbally laid his feelings out for her so many times. Goodbye, I wish you unhappiness Stella ✌🏼

I was very intrigued by Beckett the entire time but this was awful enough that I don’t know if I’m willing to risk more books in this series, possibly by this author as a whole. 

I read this months ago but just did a re-read via audiobook and this was just as hot as I remembered 🥵  the angst, tension and playful banter are soo good. You can feel how much they don’t want to be into each other but find that they’re unable to help themselves. When they do hook up, good lord is it explosive. 

This is narrated in duet style by Maggie Thompson & Austin Stone and it was *chefs kiss* on audio
