Another wonderful book about Gamache who gets involved in a murder investigation while he's suspended. It was lovely to "check in" on all the friends in Three Pines. I really love this series because it's so much more than just a crime story.

I really liked this book and I think I will appreciate the series more than Percy Jackson. The plot was full of adventure so it never got boring. The only thing that I didn't like was Samirahs arranged marriage. Instead of questioning this awful custom (which is nothing more than rape sanctioned by your family) Riordan made her love Amir. Weak.

This book is typical for the body positive movement where they can't hold two thoughts in their head at the same time. I can understand how you shouldn't hate your body, but the love part I don't get. Or the belittleing of the consequences of obesity to ones health. Obesity is nothing to celebrate.
