Found family and a cozy little romance by the sea… what else can you ask for?

Parts of this book had me fascinated and engaged, parts were almost comically disturbing, and the rest slid by without much comment. I will say, I cried and cringed a lot reading this.

This book was so bittersweet and so cute. A romance and a cozy sci-fi and a very real discussion on grief: I would recommend this to anyone.

This book might not be for everyone, but I thought it was the perfect mix of cozy fantasy and interesting plot. I loved the characters and reading it felt like drinking a cup of warm coffee on a rainy day. It had magic, romance, snarky loveable kids and a big old cozy house. And some eccentric old gay men!

I love a murder mystery and I love a  story with unlikeable people.
