WHAT??!!! I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Really liked this memoir and how she really hit on female friendships and the different types of love you experience in your life.

Was the writing great? No. Was I entertained? Absolutely.

I struggled with this book a little bit. I liked reading a man’s POV, especially since a majority of the book I read are from a woman’s POV. It was painful at times reading his inner dialogue but the personal growth for both of the people in this story made it so good.

This was such a cute summery read for the weekend!

I’m over it. Skimmed the last 10 chapters and I was 95% right on my guesses for the end.

I love Abby Jimenez’s writing!!!! It just feels so real. The way mental health and trauma are portrayed was just so good. I felt the anxiety and understood Emma’s struggles. Just genuinely so good (I’m not being biased since the MMC is named Justin ;))!!

Adding a star after this reread. I felt as though I understood both characters a little more this time around. But I am just not a friends to lovers person. Like just tell them how you feel!!! Why are all these people waiting 10+ years to tell their friend how they feel??
