Adding a star after this reread. I felt as though I understood both characters a little more this time around. But I am just not a friends to lovers person. Like just tell them how you feel!!! Why are all these people waiting 10+ years to tell their friend how they feel??

4.5!! Holy buckets what the heck just happened?? Loved this story. It’s wasn’t so much fantasy but more of a historical fiction with magic intertwined. I wish we would’ve gotten more answers and depth from some of the characters. Excited for the sequel!!

Changed my mind!!! Abby is just great and rethought about this book after reading Just for Summer and just realized how much I loved it! Only thing is did not live the trope. I struggled with the ending.

Great. Another unfinished series that I now love…

Really liked this read! Loved the different magic system and world these characters are in. I struggled a little bit with the names and some of the events but still couldn’t put it down!

Wow I loved this book!! It’s so much more than just a romance. I’ve never wanted a book series to be a show more than this one.

This one surprised me. I’ve loved Carley Fortune’s writing in her other books but always struggled with the plot. This one started out very similar to Every Summer After and I almost DNF’d but I’m so glad I kept going! This story is about finding yourself and putting yourself first. I absolutely loved it.

I need a streaming service (preferably HBO) to pick up this series asap. I love these characters, their growth and seeing them find their way in life. Chloe Walsh writes an amazing love story that is so much more and gives you a different perspective.

This one dragged a little for me but I love how much Joey and Aoife grew together.

Honestly a really cute read. Loved the FMC and how she learned to love herself and live with her grief. There were definitely parts that could have been explained and developed a little further but overall really liked it!
