Daughter of No Worlds by Carissa Broadbent

Really liked the magic system and uniqueness of this story. But it took a while to really get going and I just kept expecting more to happen than what did. I have so many questions so we’ll see if they’re answered the next books.

HUH!? I don’t get it.
There was a lot I liked about this book but also a lot I didn’t like about this book. The ending makes literally no sense. There was so much back and forth, I feel like we could’ve skipped a good chunk of the middle and not had that cliffhanger that doesn’t even have me needing the next one in the series.

3.5 - Loved the vibes of this book but it’s meant to be read in the fall with a cup of tea and in front of a fire. I think I would have liked it more if I read this in October/November!
I liked how the author really brought out the FMC’s personality and let it shine through the books. I’m just not a fan of big romantic gestures so that always takes it down a little bit for me.

A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston

A cutie rom com! I really like Ashley Poston’s writing but there were a lot of things the FMC did and said that just left me frustrated. I stilled really liked the concept and storyline, though!

I really liked the first 65% of this one. I did not care for the ending. BUT I loved Olive!! I have never related to an FMC more. The overthinking, the second guessing, and just everything about her inner monologue felt like I was reading a book about me.
