Prologue of the story itself, was shocking by itself like, Madoc she was your wife. Alto it did set the tone of his character from the start, and somehow towards the end where it is reveled what his true intensions where in the start.

Favorite characters?
Of Course it has to be Caden and Jude oh and Vivi, I liked her even if she did not get much of a writing scene.

I cannot wait to be able to read the second book. In all truth the story itself is fascinating, and the characters well were put. However if Jude sister Taryn told her from the start that Locke was the one who was going to propose to her, things would have been averted but I think that was the plot to stir Jude to slowly become who she was towards the end, and as she had earned the nickname The Queen.

When infect she thought she was getting the nickname of the liar which it was not.

Also the nickname feels like some future omen like the third book, book title name - The Queen of Nothing.

While reading this my brain could not considerate or think deep at times. Which caused to hugely loose interest in the book. Some scenes I pull not comprehend well but trying my best to write my thoughts to keep up with the amount of books I am reading at once.

Page 104 - || My brain did not catch up, when I was like afterwords if that's Nicholai to the rescue ||

Chapter 7 - || The King is an asshole, and I hate him hope he dies sonner then later. The Darkling mother is yet again my favourite character.||

Chapter 8 - || I have a feeling that the emerald ring is somehow important to the plot of the story. Like it will help them to find the bird. ||

Chapter 9 - || Why and why do I like all the scenes so far when the Darlking appears

ACT 1, Prolouge
||The writing style of this book is way better then (The Tursday Murder Club By Richard Osman) and is promising which I do hope it is.
I can't seem to pronounce Colborne in my head.
The Mystery is already getting me curious to know more.||

Act 1, Scene 1
|| I can understand why people thing the book has the dark Academia aesthetics. And the way its being written like you are seeing all this on a stage but in truth in a normal scene work.
From what I am also understanding is these students are of course in a theatre school/University and in the future they want to be actors and such. And yet again the writing is amazing
