good ending! their story was heartwarming and with some good spice! I didn’t think I would say that on the first books but I’m actually really interested to read books on the Roth and their mates, hopefully they’ll be out soon

def my least fav of the series so far, i feel like the author set up a very interesting backstory for both of the main characters and ended up writing the shortest book of the series and under developing so many important points; it felt like a book just to further the plot, even if still enjoyable and spicy

def more of a slow burn than the other ones but still pretty good! Feruz throughout the whole book was the king of putting your partner’s needs in front of yours and like understanding what is important to Tati and matching his actions to that! UGH lovely
I totally understood Tati’s moral dilenma and it made sense with her being a medic and being so intentional about saving lives; i do wish her past was more explored, even if that means some gruesome parts of the war against the Roth on Earth, i feel like it would have given her better background.

omg the spice took a while to hit but when it did??? prolly the best spice of the series so far tbh
other than that, I freaking loved how grief is representated and it just made so understanding of poor baby Evoz. Abby is a freaking bad ass bitch and even tho we knew that already from the other books before this one, I loved how we got to be inside her head while everything was going on. Even if the amnesia and the head injury, I loved how Evoz didn’t stop being himself as the “Beast” but still kept his understanding and loving manners!

I binged read this before my book club meeting but I still ended up feeling like it was too much information but none was truly developed enough? 🥴 I think I’ll continue the series maybe not now

4.5 ⭐️ this was hilarious and such a good time! I loved how even if she could be a badass when needed, my girl Bex knew from the jump she just wanted a soft life as a hopeless romantic that she is lol she just like me frr! I really liked how we got to see further into their relationship and the communication was so good, especially after they got through the misunderstandings of Bex using slang and Dergoz thinking she meant literally lmao the alien cat yelling “yeaaahhh” all the time had me cackling out loud!

it was worse, and it got worsar... his possessiveness and adoration for her really had potential but all the plot holes and secrets that never got discussed ever really disappointed me
