this turned into one of my favorite dark mafia romances ever not even half way through reading it but I don’t think I’ll ever read this again, it was heartbreaking 😭😭 they both went through hell and back together and came out on the other side together 🥹 I loved how trauma was discussed and how Amara was seen by everyone around her as so strong because not despite everything she went through and still came out alive and fighting.
