A perfect way to begin 2025 by reading Kimmerer's work. I loved how she was able to articulate the Gift Economy and why it matters. I hope people get a chance to read this short book and take away the idea of the Gift Economy and how to participate in it.

This was a wonderfully illustrated, well written, and deeply informative book that I loved reading! Such a nice way to end 2024 with a history of 2 of my favorite and most influential authors.

This book was much more convoluted than I found the first book to be. I think the shifting points of view and the timeline were what confused me the most. I still liked the characters, and I understand why the plot was written as it was (I think), so I am giving this a 3.5/5 stars. I am looking forward to seeing if we get more cohesive characters moving forward.

I love anything Katee writes, and this book was no exception. It's definitely not a book to read if you don't like smut, but I always enjoy the way Katee writes relationships and stories.

This was such an interesting book! The world building, the magic system, the characters! I can't wait to read the other books in this series.

This was a lovely book! I really enjo9yed the illustrations and the information throughout the book. The combination of folklore, magical, and medicinal information to each herb, flower, and tree was a delightful reference read.

This was an interesting book but honestly didn't feel like a satisfying ending. I liked the real world tie-in of WWII (which is I guess actually WWI in this world) but the character relationships were disappointing to me. I will continue to read and see what - if anything - happens next!
