Underdead by Liz Jasper

I'm not even sure how to describe it...it was definitely funny, but also dark at times. A sort of realistic take on vampires in the real world maybe...or rather how you would react after being bitten. Hmmm...not even sure that is what I think, but I really loved it. Just describing some of the scenes to my husband made me giggle. Looking forward to the sequel.
Finding Grace by Sarah Pawley

Totally satisfied....Grace is so spunky you can't help but fall in love with her.... And Henry is such a rake...even though I'm not a reader of the Austen's and Bronte's of the world, I have seen a movie or two and could feel the influences. Was worried when it kind of dragged after the big action climax, but the resolution was perfect for me. Just loved it.
Following My Toes by Laurel Osterkamp

I went between loving it and being confused by it...I think I can't like it more than a 3 star b/c I have a hard time with adulterers being human....which they are...but wouldn't it be easier if they were evil?? Obviously this is not a fault of the book, but a fault of me. Faith was an interesting character, and I didn't always get where the author was going with her (with all the being accused of being self-involved). I guess it went over my head. *shrugs*
Death by Facebook by Everett Peacock

This was just not for me. Wasn't into the whole "magical realism" thing....way too many loosely connected storylines that weren't all resolved. Kept meeting new characters, but didn't end up really caring about any of them. Thought it was going to be more of a mystery, but wasn't a mystery at all. It definitely did get better as it went along, but not enough for me to recommend it. :(
Tides Of Love by Tracy Sumner

I'm not a huge fan of historical fiction b/c the language and settings make me have to think too much...sounds stupid right? Anyways, I think this had an effect on my rating of the book...just not for me as much. I did enjoy Noah and Elle, but was starting to get frustrated with Noah around the middle of the book. All and all enjoyable.
Falling Star by Diana Dempsey

A bit different from what I'm used to reading....the hateful people were quite hateful. I enjoyed seeing the bit of comeuppance at the end, but it was too real and thus they didn't suffer nearly enough for my tastes. And I'm not too good with affairs, especially when the people I'm supposed to like the most are the perpetrators....but I guess everyone makes mistakes. *shrugs*

So many aspects to it...a troubled but loveable and redeemable hero. His perfect match in Maggie. Yup, good stuff...
Maid for the Billionaire by Ruth Cardello

Loved Abby...so smart, courageous...a woman character I could admire. And even with Dominic's ways, you could see what Abby saw and so he was never as awful as some romance heros can be, so his redemption was not completely out of character.
