Une petite romance de shifters sympa

Le résumé m'a donnée envie ainsi que le côté mariage arrangé et plus ou moins mère célibataire mais c'était trop court pour que la romance se développe vraiment bien ><

Par contre, j'ai bien aimé la dyslexie du personnage principal masculin et la façon dont c'est traité =)

Bref, une lecture sympa mais qui aurait mérité d'être plus longue !

A nice little shifters romance

The summary made me want to read it as well as the arranged marriage and more or less single mother side but it was too short for the romance to really develop well ><

On the other hand, I really liked the dyslexia of the main male character and the way it is treated =)

In short, a nice read but which would have deserved to be longer !

Une petite romance de Noel adorable

Je ne sais plus exactement comment j'ai découvert ce livre (je crois qu'il était mentionné dans la newsletter de Smart Bitches, Trashy Books !) mais ça a été une très agréable surprise !

Outre les notes de bas de pages que j'adore, j'ai adoré l'univers avec toutes les différentes créatures (mention spéciale pour Cora et toutes ses spécificités !) et la romance hyper mignonne et romantique (et aussi hyper sexy !)

Ça me rend curieuse pour les autres livres dans l'univers !

Bref, une petite nouvelle de Noël adorable et sexy que j'ai lu avec plaisir !

A cute little Christmas romance

I don't remember exactly how I discovered this book (I think it was mentioned in the Smart Bitches, Trashy Books newsletter !) but it was a very pleasant surprise !

Besides the footnotes that I love, I loved the universe with all the different creatures (special mention for Cora and all her specificities !) and the super cute and romantic romance (and also super sexy !)

It makes me curious about the other books in the universe !

In short, a cute and sexy little Christmas novella that I read with pleasure !

Le troisième et dernier tome d'une trilogie absolument géniale !

Quand j'ai appris que j'avais réussi à mettre la main sur un ARC, j'étais AUX ANGES ! Cette série est tellement unique et fantastique, j'étais hyper impatiente de voir comment Wendell allait arriver à récupérer son royaume ... Et j'ai absolument adoré =D

Ce que j'ai particulièrement aimé :

- l'univers qui est FANTASTIQUE ! Les détails sur les différents Fae, sur leurs coutumes, leurs histoires ... J'ai tellement adoré tous ces petits détails !

- l'intrigue avec les conséquences des actions d'Emily dans le précédent tome et donc la vengeance de l'ancienne reine (qui était tellement tordue !!) ET CETTE FIN !! J'ai ADORE !!

- les personnages qui sont terriblement attachants >< Emily reste ma préférée parce qu'elle est tellement normale et pourtant elle fait preuve d'un tel courage !
Mention spéciale pour Lord Taran que j'ai adoré ! J'adorais avoir son histoire !

- la romance tellement mignonne et adorable mais aussi terriblement romantique ! J'adore comment Wendell la connait tellement (le cadeau du cottage <3) et bien sûr, les lettres !

- le style avec les notes de bas de pages que j'ai DEVORE !

Bref, un dernier tome d'une série de fantasy historique avec une romance adorable et un univers absolument magique que je recommande à tout le monde !

Pour les fans de Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell ou simplement de fantasy avec des univers fantastiques, à lire absolument !

The third and final book of an absolutely awesome trilogy !

When I learned that I had managed to get my hands on an ARC, I was OVER THE MOON ! This series is so unique and fantastic, I couldn't wait to see how Wendell was going to get his kingdom back ... And I absolutely loved it =D

What I particularly liked :

- the universe which is AWESOME ! The details about the different Fae, their customs, their stories ... I loved all these little details so much !

- the plot with the consequences of Emily's actions in the previous book and therefore the revenge of the former queen (which was so twisted !!) AND THIS END !! I LOVED IT !!

- the characters who are terribly endearing >< Emily remains my favorite because she is so normal and yet she shows such courage !
Special mention for Lord Taran who I loved ! I'd love to have his story !

- the romance so cute and adorable but also terribly romantic ! I love how Wendell knows her so much (the gift of the cottage <3) and of course, the letters !

- the style with the footnotes that I DEVOURED !

In short, a last book of a historical fantasy series with an adorable romance and an absolutely magical universe that I recommend to everyone !

For fans of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell or simply fantasy with awesome universes, a must-read !

Genre & Tropes : romance mafia x some small suspense plot x badass hero x cute heroine x abusive ex x spicy scenes

Un quatrième tome dans la famille Lombardi que j'ai lu trop vite !

OK je dois reconnaitre que même si les Lombardi ne sont pas mes préférés, ils ont quand même une place spéciale dans mon coeur parce qu'ils sont si originaux =)

Et j'ai beaucoup aimé découvrir Rico et le voir succomber à Kick et son odeur de muffin à la myrtille xD J'avais un peu peur de la façon dont Kick allait réagir par rapport à son ex et à son frère et aussi comment Rico allait réagir quand il apprendrait sa trahison ! Mais finalement j'ai adoré comment ça se conclue >< (même si j'aurais voulu que son frère souffre un peu plus xD)

Bref, une romance mafia sexy mais aussi mignonne que j'ai lu avec plaisir !

PS : je VEUX un tome avec Saff =D

A fourth book in the Lombardi family that I read too quickly !

OK I have to admit that even if the Lombardis are not my favorites, they still have a special place in my heart because they are so original =)

And I really enjoyed discovering Rico and seeing him succumb to Kick and her blueberry muffin smell xD I was a little afraid of how Kick would react to her ex and her brother and also how Rico would react when he learned of her betrayal ! But in the end I loved how it turned out >< (even if I would have liked her brother to suffer a little more xD)

In short, a sexy but also cute mafia romance that I read with pleasure !

Une romance à suspense sexy et forte en rebondissement

Bon je ne vais pas être neutre parce que Katie Reus fait partie de mes auteures "chouchoux" et Redemption Harbor (la série originale et le spin-off) fait partie de mes lectures préférées de cette auteure !

Et sans surprise, j'ai beaucoup aimé suivre les aventures de Berlin qui est un peu fofolle mais terriblement attachante et la voir succomber au charme de Chance un peu grognon mais terriblement sexy =)

L'intrigue était intéressante et j'ai beaucoup aimé les voir enquêter sur la disparition du frère de Chance et bien sûr la conclusion m'a ravie !

Bref, une romance à suspense sexy que j'ai lu avec plasir !

PS : J'AI TELLEMENT BESOIN DU TOME AVEC MARI >< La petite référence à la fin m'a tellement donnée envie =D

A sexy and full of twists romance suspense

Well I'm not going to be neutral because Katie Reus is one of my favorite authors and Redemption Harbor (the original series and the spin-off) is one of my favorite reads by this author !

And unsurprisingly, I really enjoyed following the adventures of Berlin who is a bit crazy but terribly endearing and seeing her succumb to the charm of Chance who is a bit grumpy but terribly sexy =)

The plot was interesting and I really enjoyed seeing them investigate the disappearance of Chance's brother and of course the conclusion delighted me !

In short, a sexy suspense romance that I read with pleasure !

PS: I NEED THE BOOK WITH MARI SO MUCH >< The little reference at the end made me want it so much =D

Une romance paranormale que j'ai lu avec plaisir mais que j'aurais voulu plus longue !

J'ai un petit faible pour les ours shifters qui ne sont pas mes préférés mais que j'adore quand j'ai besoin d'une romance mignonne =)

Le livre était un peu court et j'aurais voulu une romance plus lente et un ex plus maléfique mais j'ai quand même passé un bon moment !

Bref, une romance mignonne avec des ours shifters qui se lit trop vite !

I have a little weakness for bear shifters who are not my favorite but that I love when I need a cute romance =)

The book was a little short and I would have liked a slower romance and a more evil ex but I still had a good time !

Genre & Tropes : more or less Christmas Romance x two novellas x biker romance x single mom x sport romance x spicy scenes

A noter : ce livre est clairement pour les fans de LLV, si vous n'avez jamais lu ses livres (notamment les séries liées au Dixie Wardens MC), vous pourrez apprécier les deux nouvelles mais ça aura moins d'impacts et certains choses seront difficiles à comprendre !

Un des livres que j'attendais avec le plus d'impatience et qui m'a brisée le coeur !

J'attendais ce livre depuis des années ! On a toujours plus ou moins connu l'histoire de Dixie mais voir l'histoire à travers ses yeux, à travers des anedoctes sur sa vie avec Mary mais aussi à travers les yeux de Hoax et Bayou et lire ses derniers moments sur Terre ... Oui j'ai pleuré comme un bébé très très vite ><

L'histoire avec Jeremiah et Merriam était également très dure (OMG la vie de Merriam !!) mais aussi magnifique et avec plus d'espoir à la fin =)

Un seul défaut peut-être : j'ai été un peu perdue avec tous les noms des enfants et des petits-enfants et j'avoue je les ai pas forcément tous reconnus ...

Bref, une double romance qui fait pleurer mais à dévorer ! Un indispensable pour les fans de Lani Lynn Vale !

Please note : this book is clearly for LLV fans, if you have never read her books (especially the series related to the Dixie Wardens MC), you will be able to appreciate the two novellas but it will have less impact and some things will be difficult to understand !

One of the books I was waiting for the most impatiently and which broke my heart !

I have been waiting for this book for years ! We have always more or less known the story of Dixie but seeing the story through his eyes, through anecdotes about his life with Mary but also through the eyes of Hoax and Bayou and reading his last moments on Earth ... Yes I cried like a baby very very quickly ><

The story with Jeremiah and Merriam was also very hard (OMG Merriam's life !!) but also magnificent and with more hope at the end =)

One flaw perhaps : I was a little lost with all the names of the children and grandchildren and I admit I didn't necessarily recognize them all ...

In short, a double romance that makes you cry but a must read! A must for fans of Lani Lynn Vale !

Un tome que j'attendais avec impatience avec Bax !

Je suis la famille Mayson et les différentes générations depuis des années et à chaque sortie, je suis hyper enthousiaste à l'idée de découvrir l'histoire d'un autre Boom ... Et Bax ne fait pas exception =)

J'ai adoré sa romance avec Olivia, la façon dont ils tentent de résister à leurs sentiments à cause des relations avec son frère mais aussi la petite intrigue à suspense et bien sûr revoir les autres membres de la famille =)

Bref, une romance sexy avec une touche de suspense que j'ai lu avec beaucoup de plaisir ! Je suis un peu triste parce qu'on arrive vers la fin de cette seconde génération de héros et héroïnes et ça va me faire bizarre quand ça va se conclure !

A book that I was impatiently awaiting with Bax !

I've been following Mayson family and the different generations for years and with each release I'm super excited to discover the story of another Boom ... And Bax isn't an exception =)

I loved his romance with Olivia, the way they try to resist their feelings because of the relationship with her brother but also the little suspense plot and of course seeing the other members of the family again =)

In short, a sexy romance with a touch of suspense that I read with great pleasure ! I'm a little sad because we're coming to the end of this second generation of heroes and heroines and it's gonna be sad when it ends !

Une romance de Noël paranormale que j'ai étonamment bien aimé !

Ce livre était dans ma liste de lectures de Noël depuis un moment mais je n'étais pas trop sûre de l'histoire de rennes strip-teasers xD

Et finalement, ce fut une agréable surprise : la romance était étonnamment mignonne et très sexy, j'ai beaucoup aimé voir Dasha évoluer et s'affirmer et l'intrigue avec le club rival était sympa (même si j'aurais voulu une fin plus développée !)

Bref, une romance de Noël originale et parfaite pour se distraire ! Je suis curieuse de lires les autres tomes avec les amies de Dasha !

A paranormal Christmas romance that I surprisingly liked !

This book had been on my Christmas reading list for a while but I wasn't too sure about the stripper reindeer story xD

And in the end, it was a pleasant surprise : the romance was surprisingly cute and very sexy, I really liked seeing Dasha evolve and assert herself and the intrigue with the rival club was nice (even if I would have liked a more developed ending !)

In short, an original Christmas romance and perfect for entertaining ! I'm curious to read the other books with Dasha's friends !

Un troisième et dernier tome (même si je n'espère pas !) d'une série que j'ai dévoré trop vite !

Quand j'ai reçu le mail de Netgalley comme quoi j'avais un ARC, j'ai HURLE de joie xD Ce tome fait partie des livres que j'attendais avec le plus d'impatience et j'étais donc SUPER heureuse d'avoir la chance de pouvoir le lire en avant-première mais aussi un peu nostalgique parce que c'était le dernier tome ...

Ce que j'ai particulièrement aimé :

- l'intrigue principale autour de l'emprisonnement de Cain et des autres s'accélère avec des avancées significatives et des rebondissements (OMG la raison pour laquelle la cité des Aeons ne doit pas tomber ! Et les trahisons ...) qui m'ont tenue en haleine jusqu'à la dernière page !

- l'univers toujours aussi riche avec les différentes références bibliques mais revisitées avec une touche de fantasy !

- la romance toujours aussi sexy et tordue mais dans le bon sens xD Et j'avoue j'ai bien aimé les voir "installés" dans leur relation =)

- cette fin !! Et cet épilogue avec un petit œuf de Pâques <3

Bref, la conclusion parfaite d'une série de romance paranormale sexy et forte en rebondissements !
Je la recommande aux fans de l'auteure bien sûr mais aux fans de mythologies, de romantasy un peu sombre et terriblement sexy !

PS : j'ADORAIS un tome avec Abaddon ou son frère ! Ou même avec Azazel ou Dandelion ou Seth ...

A third and final book (even if I hope not !) of a series that I devoured too quickly !

When I received the email from Netgalley saying that I had an ARC, I SQUEALED with joy xD This book is one of the books that I was waiting for the most impatiently and I was therefore SUPER happy to have the chance to read it before everyone but also a little nostalgic because it was the last book ...

What I particularly liked :

- the main plot about the imprisonment of Cain and the others accelerates with significant advances and twists (OMG the reason why the city of the Aeons must not fall ! And the betrayals ...) that kept me in suspense until the last page !

- the universe still as interesting with the different biblical references but revisited with a touch of fantasy !

- the romance still as sexy and twisted but in a good way xD And I have to admit I really liked seeing them "settled" in their relationship =)

- this end !! And this epilogue with a little Easter egg <3

In short, the perfect conclusion of a sexy paranormal romance series full of twists !
I recommend it to fans of the author of course but also to fans of mythologies and dark and terribly sexy romance !

PS: I'D LOVE a book with Abaddon or his brother ! Or even with Azazel or Dandelion or Seth ...
