Le premier tome d'une nouvelle série de romance paranormale à dévorer sans modération !

Quand j'ai su qu'on allait avoir une nouvelle série avec les enfants des héros de la série Stay a Spell, j'étais TELLEMENT ENTHOUSIASTE !!

Et sans surprise, j'ai adoré !

Retrouver l'univers de la Nouvelle Orléans magique avec les anciens personnages mais aussi découvrir tous les nouveaux personnages m'a ravie ! La petite intrigue autour des rivalités pour le combat de loup était sympa (même si j'aurais voulu qu'elle soit plus longue et complexe !) mais le gros point fort de ce tome c'est la romance ! J'ai absolument adoré voir Celine et Ronan se rencontrer et tomber amoureux mais aussi grandir et évoluer grâce à cette relation ! J'ai adoré les moments sexy mais aussi les moments mignons et la façon dont ils n'hésitent pas à être vulnérables et à se remettre en question !

Bref, une romance paranormale sexy et mignonne que j'ai lu avec grand plaisir ! J'ai HYPER hâte d'avoir d'autres tomes, notamment Samara et son professeur =)

The first book of a new paranormal romance series to devour without moderation !

When I found out that we were going to have a new series with the children of the heroes of the Stay a Spell series, I was SO EXCITED !!

And unsurprisingly, I loved it !

Finding the magical New Orleans universe with the old characters but also discovering all the new characters delighted me ! The little plot around the rivalries for the wolf fight was nice (even if I would have liked it to be longer and more complex !) but the big strong point of this book is the romance ! I absolutely loved seeing Celine and Ronan meet and fall in love but also grow and evolve thanks to this relationship ! I loved the sexy moments but also the cute moments and the way they don't hesitate to be vulnerable and question themselves !

In short, a sexy and cute paranormal romance that I read with great pleasure ! I'm SO eager to have other books, especially Samara and her teacher =)

Le premier livre d'une série de romances aliens / dragons que j'ai lu avec grand plaisir

Quand j'ai su qu'il y avait une nouvelle série dans le même univers que les Horde Kings of Dakkar, j'étais hyper enthousiaste et en plus AVEC DES DRAGONS !!

L'histoire se passe plusieurs siècles après l'histoire originale (ce n'est pas obligatoire de la série mais c'est mieux pour un certain nombre de référence !) et l'héroïne est donc une descendante de certains couples de la série originale ! J'ai absolument adoré découvrir comment Dakkar et les Dakkari avaient évolué, les nouveaux pouvoirs qui s'affrontent (les horribles prétresses !!) et bien sûr découvrir tout ce nouvel univers avec les Sarrothians (leur language, leur culture ...)

L'intrigue avec les heartstones était géniale tout comme toute la tension autour de Klara et de ses pouvoirs mais aussi de son immersion dans ce nouveau monde (toute la pression pour revendiquer un dragon était GENIALE !)

J'ai ABSOLUMENT adoré les personnages avec Klara timide mais tellement courageuse et Zaridan tellement grognon et bien sûr leur romance était top ! Toutes les menaces, la méfiance puis petit à petit les sentiments et toute cette tension sexuelle entre eux ... J'ai adoré !

Bref, le premier tome d'une nouvelle série de romances aliens barbares avec des dragons que j'ai lu avec beaucoup de plaisir ! J'ai hâte d'avoir le prochain livre !

The first book in a series of alien / dragon romances that I read with great pleasure

When I found out that there was a new series in the same universe as the Horde Kings of Dakkar, I was super excited and WITH DRAGONS too !!

The story takes place several centuries after the original story (it's not mandatory for the series but it's better for some references !) and the heroine is therefore a descendant of some couples from the original series ! I absolutely loved discovering how Dakkar and the Dakkari had evolved, the new powers that clash (the horrible priestesses !!) and of course discovering this whole new universe with the Sarrothians (their language, their culture ...)

The plot with the heartstones was great as was all the tension around Klara and her powers but also her immersion in this new world (all the pressure to claim a dragon was AWESOME !)

I ABSOLUTELY loved the characters with Klara shy but so brave and Zaridan so grumpy and of course their romance was great ! All the threats, the distrust and then little by little the feelings and all this sexual tension between them ... I loved it !

In short, the first book of a new series of barbarian alien romances with dragons that I read with great pleasure ! I can't wait to have the next book !

Un tome sympa mais pas mon préféré

J'ai longtemps hésité avant de lire ce tome parce que le résumé me tentait moins que les autres tomes et sans surprise, ce n'est pas mon préféré ! L'histoire était intéressante mais les personnages m'ont moins convaincue ... Trop de mensonges, de secrets et de malentendus qui auraient pu être évité et j'ai trouvé la fin de l'intrigue un peu facile ...

Bref, une romance alien sympa mais sans plus !

A nice book but not my favorite

I hesitated for a long time before reading this book because the summary tempted me less than the other books and unsurprisingly, it's not my favorite ! The story was interesting but the characters convinced me less ... Too many lies, secrets and misunderstandings that could have been avoided and I found the end of the plot a little easy ...

In short, a nice alien romance but nothing more !

Le premier tome d'une série de romance alien barbare à dévorer sans modération

Cette série est un peu mon plaisir coupable >< Je suis presque sûre que je ne devrais pas autant l'aimer et pourtant, elle se dévore en un rien de temps ! Ce n'est pas le premier livre de "romances barbares" que je lis (je dois avouer que je n'ai aimé ni celui de Kristen Ashley ni celui de GoT parce que la question du consentement était douteuse) mais c'est probablement mon préféré !

J'adore tout l'univers qui est construit avec la culture des Dakkari (leur langue, leurs coutumes comme l'histoire avec leur nom ...) et bien sûr la romance qui est mignonne, sexy et amusante (qui n'aime pas les héroines mignonnes et badass face à des grands barbares grognons mais romantiques et sexy ??)

Mention spéciale pour les nouvelles couvertures qui sont MILLE FOIS MIEUX !!

Bref, une romance alien sexy et parfaite pour se distraire !

This series is a bit of my guilty pleasure >< I'm pretty sure I shouldn't like it so much and yet, it's devoured in no time ! This is not the first "barbarian romance" book I've read (I must admit that I didn't like Kristen Ashley's or GoT's because the question of consent was questionable) but it's probably my favorite !

I love the whole universe that is built with the Dakkari culture (their language, their customs as well as the thing with their name ...) and of course the romance that is cute, sexy and funny (who doesn't like cute and badass heroines facing big grumpy but romantic and sexy barbarians ??)

Special mention for the new covers that are A THOUSAND TIMES BETTER !!

In short, a sexy alien romance and perfect for a fun read !

J'aurais voulu que le livre soit dix fois plus long mais j'ai adoré lire l'histoire de Valentine et Bear, leur relation mignonne et sexy avec une pointe de drama !

Bref, une lecture légère et sexy que j'ai dévoré !

I wish the book was ten times longer but I loved reading Valentine and Bear's story, their cute and sexy relationship with a touch of drama !

Le dernier tome et la conclusion d'une série de romance alian barbare que j'ai lu avec grand plaisir

Je ne pensais pas aimer autant ce tome mais outre le fait que ce soit mon favori dans la série, j'ai dévoré ce livre avec grand plaisir ! Depuis le premier tome où l'univers était à peine esquissé, chaque tome a apporté des nouveaux élements pour complexifier l'intrigue et l'univers et tout ça culmine dans ce tome qui conclue l'intrigue avec les manigances du "roi" alien mais aussi la mystérieuse brume rouge !

Mais outre l'intrigue que j'ai beaucoup aimé, le gros point fort de ce livre c'est la romance !! J'ai ABSOLUMENT adoré la relation grumpy mercenaire badass rebel / sunshine très innocente mais aussi amusante et courageuse et en même temps le côté presque slow burn où le héros tente de lui résister MAIS SURTOUT tout cet angst avec la "rupture" (mon coeur s'est tellement brisé), les révélations ET bien sûr quand le héros va devoir se faire pardonner (et on adore voir un mâle alpha reconnaitre ses torts et "ramper" =) ) ... Genial !

Bref, une romance alien avec une ambiance barbare que j'ai beaucoup aimé et qui conclue une série à lire sans modération !
Je recommande cette série pour les fans de romances dans un cadre original avec des accents de romantasy !

The last book and conclusion of a series of alien barbarian romance that I read with great pleasure

I didn't think I would like this book as much but besides the fact that it is my favorite in the series, I devoured this book with great pleasure ! Since the first book where the universe was barely sketched, each one has brought new elements to complicate the plot and the universe and all of this culminates in this book which concludes the plot with the shenanigans of the alien "king" but also the mysterious red mist !

But besides the plot that I really liked, the big strong point of this book is the romance !! I ABSOLUTELY loved the grumpy mercenary badass rebel / sunshine relationship very innocent but also funny and courageous and at the same time the almost slow burn side where the hero tries to resist her BUT ESPECIALLY all this angst with the "breakup" (my heart was so broken), the revelations AND of course when the hero will have to be forgiven (and we love to see an alpha male recognize his wrongs and "grovel" =) ) ... Awesome !

In short, an alien romance with a barbaric atmosphere that I really liked and which concludes a series to read without moderation !
I recommend this series for fans of romances in an original setting with accents of romantasy !

Une romance alien de la seconde chance exactement comme je les aime

Les livres de Zoey Draven ne sont pas une nouveauté pour moi ni même cette série parce que j'avais déjà lu des livres de cette série même si comme dans d'habitude, je ne les ai pas lu dans l'ordre ><
Et ça avait été des lectures sympas et parfaites pour se distraire quand j'ai une période de vide livresque !

Et sans surprise, ça a été une lecture très agréable : j'adore l'univers avec toutes ses coutumes étranges et le langage très spécifique des aliens et la romance était géniale ! J'adore les romances de la seconde chance et là j'ai particulièrement apprécié tous les efforts que le héros fait pour se faire pardonner (même si certaines fautes ne sont pas de son fait ! On adore un mâle alpha qui reconnait ses torts =)) Il y avait du angst, de l'humour, de la séduction et tout ça avec une intrigue intéressante !

Bref, une romance alien avec une ambiance très barbare que j'ai lu avec grand plaisir ! Je sens que je suis retombée dans l'ambiance barbare donc je vais lire les autres tomes dans la foulée =)

A second chance alien romance exactly as I like them

Zoey Draven's books are not new to me nor is this series because I had already read books from this series even if as usual, I did not read them in the right order ><
And they had been nice reads and perfect to distract myself when I have a period of bookish void !

And unsurprisingly, it was a very enjoyable read : I love the universe with all its strange customs and the very specific language of the aliens and the romance was great ! I love second chance romances and here I particularly appreciated all the efforts the hero makes to be forgiven (even if some mistakes are not his fault ! We love an alpha male who recognizes his wrongs =)) There was angst, humor, seduction and all that with an interesting plot !

In short, an alien romance with a very barbaric atmosphere that I read with great pleasure ! I feel like I've fallen back into the barbarian atmosphere so I'm going to read the other books right away =)

Une romance paranormale très très sexy

Je dois avouer que ça a été une agréable surprise ! Je m'attendais à une romance érotique sans trop de profondeur mais en fait, l'intrigue et la romance étaient bien plus développées que ce que je pensais !

Je ne suis pas trop Daddy romance d'habitude ni érotisme mais ici avec l'intrigue autour des meurtres et des manipulations du coven de Blair et des personnages amusants hauts en couleur, j'ai dévoré ce livre !

Ce n'est pas un coup de coeur parce que si l'intrigue avait du potentiel, la seconde partie n'était pas assez développée / trop rapide ... J'aurais voulu que la résolution avec le drama de Ryan et celui de Mara soit plus complexe, nuancée et profonde (j'ai eu l'impression qu'en deux secondes, pouf tout était résolu et pardonné ! Mara est finalement "gentille", Ryan accepte toutes les révélations sans trop ciller, Blair récupère ses pouvoirs sans problèmes ... Et voilà !)

Bref, une romance paranormale très sexy parfaite pour se distraire ! Je ne sais pas si je lirais les prochains livres avec Lucifer ou Mara parce qu'ils ne m'ont pas trop convaincu mais j'adorais un tome avec Stevie !

A very very sexy paranormal romance

I must admit that it was a pleasant surprise ! I was expecting an erotic romance without much depth but in fact, the plot and the romance were much more developed than I thought !

I'm not usually a Daddy or erotica romance but here with the plot around the murders and manipulations of Blair's coven and the colorful funny characters, I devoured this book !

It's not a favorite because if the plot had potential, the second part wasn't developed enough / too fast ... I would have liked the resolution with Ryan's drama and Mara's to be more complex, nuanced and deep (I had the impression that in two seconds, poof everything was resolved and forgiven ! Mara is finally "nice", Ryan accepts all the revelations without blinking too much, Blair gets her powers back without problems ... And voilà !)

In short, a very sexy paranormal romance perfect to have fun ! I don't know if I would read the next books with Lucifer or Mara because they didn't really convince me but I'd love a book with Stevie !

Une romance mignonne et sexy qui se lit très vite !

J'ai pris plaisir à lire cette romance qui avait tous les ingrédients pour me plaire : une intrigue originale (avec un testament tordu comme dans un téléfilm de Noël xD), une première rencontre tellement marrante, des personnages attachants, une romance à la fois mignonne et sexy (le rendez-vous sur le terrain sous les étoiles !), une intrigue sympa (avec un ex et une famille maléfique !) et une ambiance petite ville et sitcom que j'ai adoré =)

Ce n'est pas un coup de cœur parce que Madison m'a bien agacée parfois (notamment la partie où elle apprend qui est le père de Braxton ...) et parce que j'aurais voulu une intrigue et une résolution plus développées avec l'ex de Madison et aussi le père de Braxton ...

Et la partie vers la fin avec Grey qui veut adopter un enfant était un peu ... bizarre ??!

Bref, une romance mignonne que j'ai lu avec plaisir ! J'ai quand même hâte d'avoir un tome avec Grey !

A cute and sexy romance that is a very quick read!

I enjoyed reading this romance that had all the ingredients to please me : an original plot (with a twisted will like in a Christmas TV movie xD), a meet-cute so funny, endearing characters, a romance that is both cute and sexy (the date on the field under the stars !), a nice plot (with an evil ex and family !) and a small town and sitcom atmosphere that I loved =)

It's not a favorite because Madison really annoyed me sometimes (especially the part where she learns who Braxton's father is ...) and because I would have liked a more developed plot and resolution with Madison's ex and also Braxton's father …

And the part towards the end with Grey who wants to adopt a child was a bit ... weird ??!

In short, a cute romance that I read with pleasure ! I'm still looking forward to the book with Grey !

ENFIN le tome avec Jack et Emma !!

J'avais adoré Gifts (avec le père d'Emma) et Chemistry of Levy (avec le frère d'Emma et le meilleur ami de Jack) alors j'étais HYPER enthousiaste à l'idée d'avoir un tome avec Jack (qui m'avait tellement fait rire) et Emma (que j'étais super impatiente de voir "adulte")

Et j'ai adoré ! La romance était amusante, mignonne et sexy (la scène du gâteau dans la cuisine <3), l'intrigueavec le "complot" autour du sportif que Jack représente était prenante (avec toutes les menaces ...) et les personnages étaient hyper attachants (et j'ai adoré revoir les anciens personnages !!)

Bref, une romance mignonne et sexy que j'ai dévoré sans modération ! Pour les fans de Brynne Asher, ça sera une super lecture mais aussi pour ceux qui voudraient une romance sexy avec une touche d'humour !

Je vais donc relire Gifts et Chemistry of Levy sans tarder x)

FINALLY the book with Jack and Emma !!

I had loved Gifts (with Emma's father) and Chemistry of Levy (with Emma's brother and Jack's best friend) so I was SUPER excited to have a book with Jack (who made me laugh so much) and Emma (who I was super impatient to see as an "adult")

And I loved it ! The romance was fun, cute and sexy (the cake scene in the kitchen <3), the intrigue with the "plot" around the athlete that Jack represents was gripping (with all the threats ...) and the characters were super endearing (and I loved seeing the old characters again !!)

In short, a cute and sexy romance that I devoured without moderation ! For Brynne Asher fans, it will be a great read but also for those who would like a sexy romance with a touch of humor !

I will therefore reread Gifts and Chemistry of Levy without delay x)
