Such a good book! A beautiful novel that reflects so well on the evilness of human nature and the fragility of innocence. I'll admit that the beginning bored me a bit, but it picks up quickly and becomes chaotic in the best possible way.

So difficult to talk about. It lost me at points, but Nabokov has such a distinct and interesting writing style. In my opinion, it truly exposes the lengths a predator will go to justify his actions, to make himself seem likeable, to present himself as such a weak, humble, and 'woe is me' character. I definitely need to explore other's views on this book.

This is one of those books that have me at a loss for words. It is such an interesting and unique concept and it is presented amazingly and with such a care for detail. It weirds me out in a way that I love.

Such a cute, sweet, and informative book! The characters are so loveable, you just have to root for them! I learnt a lot about Bengali culture, this is such an important story to tell!<3

This book has a very compelling atmosphere. It gave me the creeps and made me ask more questions than a lot of books ever have. I’m definitely going to continue on with the series, mainly to discover more about the hypnotic Area X :)
