There is a lot of substance in this book, and a lot of interesting points, but it wasn't really for me. Maybe I don't have the brain capacity to understand a lot of what this book is trying to say, or I just got bored. I can see how someone may love this book though!
There aren’t enough words to describe how much I loved this book. It gives me so many warm fuzzy feelings, it’s hilarious and heartwarming! TJ Klune is so good at what he does, go read it!
This book is very charming and quirky! Simmone Howell has a distinct and lighthearted writing style which really made this book comfortable to be in! The characters are all their own unique people and have so many loveable quirks, this is a great young adult read:) I did feel that the mystery may have been a bit pointless at times, as it sort of fizzles out and loses any significance, but in my opinion the characters and their relationships mostly makes up for it:)
There is so much that I can say about this book. There is so much substance in this story, and so much to study. Definitely worth reading, both as a horror book and as something much deeper and much more reflective.
Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

I really don't know what to say about this book. I loved it, that's obvious enough, but Jenny Hval is so unbelievably talented with her prose and descriptions. I adored this book.
This book has such a charm to it! It teaches the ever important lesson of valuing every moment of your life, as it may just be your last, while also telling readers to be proud of themselves, no matter how many regrets they may have in life. The narrator of this book has such a distinct and unique voice, and reading from his perspective was super interesting! The messages he learns aren't very subtle, I felt no need to read between the lines, but I feel like that is super valuable and accessible!
One of my new favorite classic novels by far! I would love to study the story further, there are so many important themes and messages that I want to look into. The complexity of the characters, the themes of science being taken too far, as well as the study of human nature, is all incredibly fascinating and rich within this novel. I believe this book is an important read for everyone, and has a lot of great lessons to teach.
Such an amazingly fun read, I blitzed through it! The characters in this book are so loveable and funny and super unique, so fun to spend the book with. The relationship between Maebh and Aideen is so naturaly and full of chemistry, I was rooting for all of the characters! Super funny and comforting:)
I haven't read any of Roald Dahls writings for older audiences, and I was pleasantly surprised by these stories! Each story was unique, yet sometimes followed the same beats with repetitive characters. Other than that, the book was hard to put down as some of the stories are short and sweet. I was a bit exhausted with the amount of stories in this collection, but ultimately they were worthwhile reads and I was barely ever bored of them.
